A very comfortable cottage with plenty of space and all the equipment needed in the kitchen. The location is ideal for getting out into the countryside for walks. The pub is a short walk away and the village shop is very close and stocks the essentials.

We had a lovely week at Rose Cottage.
We had a lovely week at Rose Cottage. The cottage itself is very comfortable and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The log fire was perfect and a welcome addition. The village itself was lovely but you have to travel to Skipton to get anything of substance although the corner shop fulfilled most requirements. Overall I'd highly recommend rose cottage

Cottage was good size for 2 adults and 2 children. Bedrooms didnt have much space, more like caravan bedrooms, had to move sideways to get into bed.

A terraced house which has been subject to an excellent refurbishment.
A terraced house which has been subject to an excellent refurbishment. It is well furnished and equipped with 2 ensuites. Need to be aware that single beds are narrow though, they are not standard 3 foot singles. There is a shop a couple of doors away, a nice pub in the village. a bus stop to Skipton when you don't want to drive, and lovely walks.
Overall a great stay, unfortunately spoilt by a young couple next door who thought it was acceptable to use a hammer drill on the party wall from 9.30pm until 10.45pm because 'they are at work during the day and live there permanantly'. The noise was deafening, it was as if we were in the same room.Hopefully it doesn't happen on a regular basis and we were just unlucky.

This is a very cosy and comfortable cottage but is more suited for an autumn/ winter break as there is no outdoor area/patio to the cottage other than a shared courtyard.

Had a wonderful few days at Rose Cottage. The house was perfect I wanted to move in permanently. I loved the village and the residents were lovely and friendly. Fabulous corner shop a few doors down. We had a lovely few trips into Skipton to see the market and go to the famous Bizzie Lizzies award winning fish and chips. Really lovely stay.

This was our second visit to Rose Cottage.
This was our second visit to Rose Cottage. It's well equipped with all you need for a home from home holiday.Good wifi but lack of mobile reception. Really useful to have both bedrooms en suite.Great location in lovely mill village with bus stop for Skipton opposite cottage and convenient village store 2 doors away. Only downside this time was neighbours in between us and the shop rather noisy.

Rose Cottage is a beautifully presented holiday home with everything you could wish for to make your stay like home from home. The only reason I marked down slightly for the overall rating is because there is no real outside space. We knew this when booking so it was not a surprise. There is an outside bench that could be used but due to the nature of the houses there is no privacy. The neighbours we saw were very friendly though.
A lovely touch is a stable door at the back which allows for additional light and fresh air inside without having the whole door wise open.
The beds are super comfortable and both rooms having ensuite facilities simply added to the comfort of the stay. We would most definitely book Rose Cottage for another stay and have already recommended it to friends.

A cosy, supremely clean, comfortable well-equipped and quiet 'home from home'. The village shop sold almost everything, so was handy. The only village pub had a reputation for excellent food but unfortunately was not able to give us a meal all week. A pleasurable 3 mile walk along the canal into Skipton where there is a big choice of shops and eating places - The Woolly Sheep Inn and La Casita (Spanish tapas) we would recommend after two visits to both.

This was such a comfortable and snug home from home, I can't recommend it highly enough! Absolutely spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you could need. It was the perfect base for exploring Skipton, Haworth and the surrounding area, and I would definitely book it again.
