Memorial Day Weekend Trip

We had a last minute change in our original plans, so I decided to just take a look on VRBO and see what was available. I am so glad that I did. This house was exactly what we were looking for! First, the location is cool and off the beaten path, but no so much so that it takes you forever to get to as you come and go during your visit. You have a feeling of seclusion, yet you can easily get to the highway and be on your way for the day. The views from the seating area out back are fabulous and we had our morning coffee out there each day. The property is very unique, and it is an older home with tons of charm. The owner was very prompt with all communication and checked in to make sure everything was going well during our stay. We had zero issues. This property is close to dozens of hiking options, plus Lake Placid, Whiteface Mtn., Saranac Lake are a short drive away. Great dining, shopping and breweries nearby. I would highly recommend this property and would gladly stay there again.
