"Great old hotel with teaditions takes you back to past time. Beautiful grand dining room, library and other common areas. Our favourite hotel in Katoomba. The rooms are in need of better maintenance, in particular windows are dirty and need cleaning."

"Decided to try this older hotel for a weekend stay and were very happy with our choice. The room was very nice and sizeable with fireplace, lounge, table and chairs, coffee facilities and a corner spa bath. We liked the older style hotel and liked the little garden and the swimming pool. The hotel has a view, but unfortunately the weather was bad and it was fogged in, so we did not get to see it. My only criticism is the beds are too firm for me. Other than that we liked it and would stay there again. "

"It has old fashioned furniture and carpet but in a good way. It's a nice change from the modern infrastructure and interior design we see in many hotels and houses these days. Very peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommend getting the premier rooms!"
