部屋は清潔、コスパから見ればgoodです

Paknajol通り沿いでホテル入口は手前のホテルの駐車場を抜けた所にあります。看板が頼りです。 スタッフは皆んなフレンドリーで、現地ガイドと車を手配してもらえ滞在中大変お世話になりました。 施設は古いけど清潔です。ドライヤーはRQですが力及ばず・・・(TT) ソーラー充電？らしく停電もあります。初日は20時前にシャワーを使った所温度が上がらなかったので、２日目は18時頃使えば熱いお湯が出ました。ACもパワー不足です。そういう所を除けばコスパからしても良い滞在でした。 ダルバール広場まで徒歩で15分くらい、現地の雰囲気を楽しめるエリアを歩いて行けます。

rude and nasty staff

Expedia mentioned 70% discount room. But in fact, it was not. I talked with the hotel staff and they accepted they are the liar and they put bogus add to attract the customer but the price is no different. This is not their fault, it was Expedia Fault, without analysing any discount prices they just put in their add.

this hotel was a great choice for us. it was within walking distance to Durbar Sq and the Thamel area yet free from the hordes of tourists. hotel set back from the street so surprisingly quiet as well. taxi stand about 50 meters away and small convenience store across the street. Room was simple yet spacious with warm shower, air con, wifi, tv, bed, and couch. Clean room and bed was very comfortable. Lots of light in the room but also had heavier drapes if light is not your thing. :). Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and filling. What impressed me the most about this hotel was the attentiveness and helpfulness of the employees. they always greeted us and asked if we needed anything, very polite. I did not utilize any of their tours but they can arrange anything for their guests. I really enjoyed my five night stay here and will definitely stay here again when i return to kathmandu.

We arrived very late and the service was excellent. The desk attendant made us noodles even though the cook was already gone and brought beer to our room at 11:30pm! Wonderful reception after a long long journey.

New hotel in center of Thamel with great features

Recent and new hotel, the bathroom was super clean and nice. As well as the bedroom and the mattress. Had a flat tv with international channel as MTV /VH1, and a kettle. Very welcoming staff, I recommand :)

An excellent hospitality provided, will visit soon

The hotel is in Thamel near Chatrapati, the hotel was close to the shopping and night-life area of Thamel and yet in quite location. The hotel is run by a family and it is very new thus have neat and clean rooms, the hospitality provided by the owner was beyond any 5 star I have stayed in. We enjoyed our stay throughout and definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for hotel room in this area for less. The only issue was they do not have power backup, although when we visited there wasn't a lot of power cuts and the weather was quite nice. There was construction going on the road in front of the hotel, but I suppose this was just a timing and I don't hold hotel responsible for this and still was very happy with their hospitality

Modern Hotel, Great Location

Excellent modern hotel. A great little oasis close to restaurants, shops etc in Thamel. Staff are all owners of the hotel and try their best to make you comfortable. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and facilites. It was quiet but close to everything in Thamel. Great place to stay, would recommend to stay there.

This Is A Good Hotel With Excellent Service !

I booked two rooms for my parents in-law and relatives. They were very satisfied with their stay in Dream City especially the manager, Mr. Ramhari Neupane. Ramhari is a very helpful and kind person. He has been taking very good care of my parents in-law during their stay in Nepal. My mother in-law said she enjoyed the tours that arranged by Mr. Ramhari very much and they will definitely visit Nepal again in future.

great service and location

I stayed in this hotel twice during my stay in Nepal. The employees do their best to make you feel at home by delivering great services. You can ask them anything. Moreover, the location of the hotel is in my opinion the best you can get in Kathmandu. It's not in the loudest street of Thamel but just om the edge, which is good for your nights rest. We also arranged our trekking to the Annapurna (including Guide) with the hotel, for a good price and quality.

We stayed with my friend in Hotel Dream city for two nights. Staff in the hotel was really helpful. They help us with finding places, ticket reservations, laundry and even took my friend to the hospital in the middle of the night. Breakfast was really good, you get your stomach full. Will recommend this place to other visitors who want to stay in Thamel area!
