"Wow! From start to finish, the hosts were communicative, accommodating, and compassionate. They have an incredibly responsive turnaround time on inbox items — before and during the trip. They are super organized and I have never stayed in a more well-appointed home than theirs — whether it was the pantry items, kitchen tools & supplies, beach and ocean accessories, linens, the list goes on & on. They’ve thought of everything. When they say “leave it at home,” it’s true! The location is peaceful and about as remote as you can get. The proximity to the MV airport, the ferries, and all of the beaches and downtown areas is exceptional. It is a super-centric location! On nights we stayed in, we enjoyed cooking in their beautifully updated kitchen complete with top of the line appliances. We even caught a meteor shower from one of the several deck spaces on the home. Their style is classic coastal and very subtle — which makes island time even easier to sink right into as well as allows you to feel at home immediately. We brought our small dog, just check with them for approval before bringing your fur friend, and they had everything available for her to have a fun stay too! Her own couch coverings, towels, bowls, etc. And on top of all of this, taking their skiff over to their private beach could not have been more awesome. In 15-20 minutes you reach a slice of paradise. Both days we spent there, we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this property. "
"It's a real treat to stay with owners who take pride in their property and business. All the details were thought out and thought through. Kitchen utensils (coffee machine, mugs, wine glasses, grilling utensils), garbage bags, locks, wifi, modern laundry machines, instructions and check-in/check-out lists. Basement had boardgames and an additional bed/TV for visitors.2 Adult Bicycles on property were highly utilized. Outdoor showers as well. AC, plenty of hot water. 10 minute bike ride to town center, 2 mile walk/run, 5 minute drive. 5-10 minutes easy ride to South Beach. Local farmer market right down the road. Friendly neighborhood, friendly neighbors.Owners communicated directy with us. Texted instructions, checked in on us to make sure everything was working, recommended things to do on the island. Responded to questions we had. Highly recommended. We will be coming back for certain!Thank you John and Kathy!"
"A clean and comfortable property that is in a great location! The house was a wonderful home base to celebrate a big birthday with a group of friends. We rented bikes and were able to enjoy Edgartown, the Katama General Store, and a beach day with ease!The property's host was incredible - 10 out 10 on communication and kindness before, during, and after our stay. Cannot wait to try to get back to the island as soon as possible and this house!"
