"I have visited Nepal many times, but this hotel is the best balanced so far. It is especially clean and quiet despite being in the center of the city. The staff were also very kind, and I would like to stay at this hotel again next time."
"The towels were dirty, not too friendly, not satisfied with their service, inconvenient, and limited transportation, and hard to find the hotel's venue. "
"I had an extraordinary stay at Maya Boutique Hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel valued from the moment I arrived. My room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep. "A great place to stay. Staff and owners are exceptional. Perfect location everything walkable but also a quiet street. Breakfast is good. Rooms are good, showers good.
Not a bad thing to say about the place. Highly recommended. "
"Very friendly staff. Convenient to Thamel, yet just outside the busiest streets. Clean hotel, good size room, in decent shape. The only negative, no elevator. "
"The staff were amazing. Always attentive, friendly, and smiling. Even though I was in Nepal during a time of political unrest, I felt safe thanks to the hotel staff kept me updated on the situation."

"I have stayed here before and I will continue to come back. I would say the best part always is the incredible staff from the front desk to housekeeping. They are sincerely pleasant and extremely helpful. I had a challenge of missing luggage from the airport and they jumped in by helping me get updates from the airport to navigating my search to acquire items I needed immediately. The hotel is centrally located in Thamel, it’s clean, well kept, and a hands down bargain in my opinion. "
"Stopped for 3 nights before staring a trek as a solo traveller. Hotel was fabulous, great location, great food, wonderful service and the rooms were fantastic and did not expect them to be as wonderful as they were.
Will return to stay again!!"
"Great location with epic Mountain View’s. The beds are a little stiff but that is the only complaint. Good food in the morning buffet. Extremely nice staff. And super good location"
"We had an excellent stay at Hyatt Centric hotel in Kathmandu. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and meet any of the needs we had."
"Staff went above and beyond. We stayed during the protests and lock down. Even staff could not leave. They remained professional and still smiling. Connot express enough how awesome they are. "
"Room 304 - there was an elevator.
I had an amazing 2 night stay at this Kumari Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal.
They offer an airport pickup service ($10 USD). I guy was waiting for me with a name plate. The ride through Kathmandu was about 20 minutes.
The check-in and receptionist was extremely pleasant and efficient.
There is a full, daily continental buffet (made to order omelets, pancakes, eggs, fruit, bread, cereal, fresh juice, etc).
It's a convenient lo action into the touristy part of Kathmandu. Restaurants and stores are within a 5-10 minute walk.
My suite had a TV and mini fridge. It was clean.
I would definitely recommend it, and if/when I'm in Kathmandu again, I will stay here. No complaints. "
