This is a family run business. The owner is a very nice lady, she is warm and helpful. The place is well equipped with essential items and the room is clean and tidy.

Great service and clean.

Very hospitable owners who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They even gave us grapes when we first arrived and also drove us to the train station. Room is small compared to what you get in the US but it’s clean. Would stay here again.

Too far to be close

More of a guesthouse than a hotel. The owners live next door and are very nice. The room was quite spartan like a dorm room but en-suite. It was clean but really had no charm. The biggest problem was that the guesthouse was too far to walk to the shops or old karuizawa. So if you have to drive in why not just get a real hotel somewhere in sakudaira for much cheaper price? They also have a picture of a big bath on their profile but it’s some onsen somewhere cause there is not one on the premises.

本次是兩家共7人來輕井澤滑雪，住在"輕井澤村"。 交通方面，我們選擇住在這裡時就已經做好每天搭計程車的心理準備，但老闆很熱心，在她有空的前提下會協助送我們去車站或雪場，很讚(從車站或雪場搭計程車回來大約1000多yen)。 餐飲方面，本次住宿的兩晚在飯店附近的燒肉跟日料店吃，都還不錯。早餐則是前一晚在飯店旁的7-11(只開到晚上11點)買好，早上吃完再出門滑雪，也算方便。 另外對於滑雪客很加分的一點，"輕井澤村"附近就有一家雪具租賃店，相比在雪場裡面租大概便宜一半，超划算。(滑兩天以上的雪友可以考慮每天滑完後直接把雪版鎖在雪場裡的架子上，不用帶著往返，方便很多) 整體來說，入住"輕井澤村"給我們很好的體驗，非常推薦。 (這次滑雪有同伴不慎受傷，老闆幫忙載了我們幾趟往返醫院，讓我們很溫暖，也再次對老闆表達感謝，非常非常謝謝老闆的協助。)

我們訂的是兩人房，有兩張單人床以及兩張沙發床，房間很大，活動空間充足。老板與老板娘很客氣也送了我們很多小禮物。並且每天接送我們岀門以及回家。總體來說是非常好的住宿經驗！

There was an English speaking staff member who was incredibly friendly and even provided us with English pamphlets about the surrounding area. :-) Everything was clean and very well organized.

メインストリートにある宿泊施設、ロケーション最高デス。オーナーさんもその地域の話をしっかりして下さって親切でした。対コストパフォーマンスで言えば絶対良い宿泊施設デスよ、私達は仕事の関係で一泊しか出来ませんでしたが、連泊したかったですね。
