Room 309 was terrible, but everything else decent

Cons: Hotel breakfast was good, very good value for the buck. The pool is smaller than it looks like but still very pleasent, and the staff in the pool nice. As for my room, i would not stay there again if it was free . I got the cheapest room, so make sure to not get that. Had a sewer running outside my door. I could hear everything my neighbours said, music, bathroom usage etc. It is a decent hotel, in a good location from everything but as I said, i had room 309, at the end of a halway. Cleaningservice was good but the room itself was rundown, mold in the bathroom. Very tiny bathroom as well

Vi fik en rigtig god pris på et standard værelse som var udemærket i forhold til hvad du får andre steder. Fin pool og hyggeligt hotelområde. Dog er der lidt længere afstand til stranden end man udmiddelbart skulle tro, da der ligger et kæmpe hotel over på den anden side af den store vej. Så det tog 15 minutters gang til stranden fordi man skulle gå uden om. Personalet var gode til at hjælpe med at få arrangeret vidererejse, og fiksede vores toilet hurtigt da vi bad om det, da man ikke kunne trække ud. Alt i alt fint ophold. Rengøring var god!

This place was great. The staff were super friendly. It’s an 8 minute walk to the beach. And the pool was very refreshing after a day at the beach.

Beautiful hotel about 7 minutes walk to the beach.

Loved the hotel’s location. It was a minute to the closest Exchange currency booth, a choice of restaurants nearby. Beach was a 7 minute walk. Loved The hotel’s grounds, beautiful green and leafy gardens. Pools surrounded by palm trees, frangipanis which provided us with great protection from the sun. Staff were very courteous and friendly. The only downside I found was the fact that there was no safe in the room. However, there were safe deposit boxes at the reception which was accessible until 10.00 pm. Overall, I give Kata Country House 8/10.

Vi havde brug for en enkelt overnatning, og efter at have været på hotellet kunne vi sagtens have tilbragt flere dage der. Dejligt pool-område og meget venligt og hjælpsomt hotel personale.

Bra bemötande när de förstod att vi inte är Ryssar

Ryssarna är inga trevliga människor och jag tycker synd om Thailändarna som måste stå ut med dem. När Thailändarna förstår att vi kommer från Skandinavien är de mycket trevligare och ler. Vi har trivts bra och relativt nära till stranden.

Nice relaxing chilled out place.

We stayed in a bungalow and enjoyed our stay. It is in the heart of the action but it's set back from the street so you don't get the street noise. We liked the room and the staff where very friendly.

The room was in need of renovation. The walls were badly stained. The room was close to a busy road which meant lots of traffic noise. The toilet had no window or extract fan which meant that toilet odors remained in the room. The office manager was not at all helpful when requesting a change of room.
