The village, Karlobag, where the apartment is located, is also home to several historical landmarks, and many interesting sites like the Capuchin Monastery, Fortica and St. Charles church are a must-visit when here.

The charming Pag Island and the enchanting national parks; Plitvice, Krka, Kornati, and Velebit are also quite accessible from the apartment, all located within 1 hour-1 hour 40 minutes away. We caught the bus from Zadar to here - make sure you take cash to pay at the station as the ATMs are often out of order and the station does not accept card. Try get the bus early as possible, especially in peak season as the sun is scorching and you'll need a lot of water breaks and rest time. There is a super market and a couple of cafes down the road from the national park entrance but pack some snacks and water!
