The area was really quiet allowing us to relax with no worries. Only 500 metres to Melissani lake/cave also a bonus. Coastal path into Sami took around 25-30 mins at a leisurely pace. There were 3 restaurants nearby in Karavomylos but plenty in Sami. There is a mini-market on the square for essentials but best go into...

This would be a very suitable and safe holiday base for a family or for a group of friends. The hosts are friendly and quick to respond to any queries. Though we managed to get about on foot, I would recommend a car, as the villa lies up a hill from the village."
