Sami Beach was excellent. Quite a long drive from the airport but well worth it. The views from the hotel both out to sea and inland over the forests and mountain are wonderful. The hotel was very welcoming and friendly. Sami is the best town on this lovely island. Quiet out of season but lots to see and do, and great food.

Lovely staff and very easy to park. Good location and room size was very generous. It's super easy and safe to walk to Sami for dinner. Lots of options for breakfast and staff are very happy to help. The bathroom sink was abit small and lacked storage but other than that wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sami Beach Hotel. We’d booked 3 nights at the hotel but ended up staying for 10 nights as we were massively let down by the villa owner on the day of arrival in Kefalonia (we’d booked 5 months prior). Caroline on reception and owner Spiro couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely family run hotel. 20 minutes walk to supermarket and restaurants on the seafront. However the restaurant in the square, few minutes walk is very good and great atmosphere. Would suggest a car to explore other beaches. Alternatively “Hop On” boat hire just by the hotel is run by a nice couple so you can explore the coast and go to beaches than cars are unable to. Would recommend this hotel to friends & family.

Amazing Sami Beach !

Wonderful holiday, we loved the hotel, the position right beside the beach and the short walk into lovely Sami Town. The staff are all so friendly and helpful just cannot recommend highly enough, we will definitely be going back !

Relaxing seafront stay

Very enjoyable stay in the Garden Suite. We had a very relaxing stay, making good use of the pool, with the additional option of the sea at the front of the hotel. Service was very attentive from all the staff. Plenty of loungers available at all times. Well situated, a 20 minute stroll from the main restaurants in Sami, which was a lovely walk by the sea. Would definitely return.

No food at hotel other than snack shop and we need to leave at 7am and they serve breakfast at 730. Sleeping is poor bc ligjts remain on all night with tennis court outside window and only sheer curtains on window. Disappointing stay.

nice hotel in a quiet beach area away from the port, although conveniently walkable along the seafront path. Please note I was upgraded to a room in the hotel rather than the room I booked so this is not a review of the basic garden room. This hotel did try to get credit card details from me "for security" despite having paid in full, in advance, but to their credit when I challenged it they did back down.

A memorable and fantastic stay.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay here. Kefallonia has without doubt been the highlight of my trip and thats largely in part thanks to Spyros, Mary and the rest of the team who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived in the hotel (and provided reassurance and support when I had stupidly left my phone and cards in the taxi that brought me there!) The room was comfy, the cleaniness excellent and the service overall was just top notch. It can be a bit of a challenge to sometimes get to other parts of the Island from Sami, but Spyros and his team were always on hand to ensure I was able to get to where I needed to be with minimal hassle. I certainly will be back again for sure!! Thank you so much for making this stay so memorable!

Not quite as good as we expected

We had one night here in preparation for a boa excursion on the following day. The room was ok but no tea or coffee provided despite there being a kettle and mugs. No water in fridge. The balcony was very small and the breakfast was disappointing with the lack of fresh fruit. Nice surroundings and reception were particularly helpful.

A lovely hotel with fantastic, friendly staff and a great location - if you have a car you can get to almost anywhere on the island in approx. one hour. Also close to Sami main town - about a 15 minute walk along the coastal path where there are lots of nice restaurants

Super sauf ..

L'hôtel était super sympa, bien situé calme et reposant, le personnel vraiment adorable. Seul bémol l'isolation avec les chambres d'à côté, nous entendons tout ce qu'il se passe . Admettons à la limite que c'est difficile de changer cela, changez au moins le shampoing par pitié, il est vraiment pas à la hauteur de tout le reste ! Vraiment le pire shampoing que j'ai utilisé, rajouter au moins un peu d'huile olive pour ne pas se retrouver les cheveux en paille en sortant de la douche svp .
