"Everything you could need in a place with so much homey holiday history, in such a beautful part of Kangaroo Island. A hint for future stayz bods....write down the directions to the property AND the code for the key safe. I did save the directions but forgot to save the code to the key safe! Thankfully I remembered from Ros's message that there was ph signal on Beach Rd. So I had a short tour of the coastline until I found a spot with ph signal. Not that I'm complaining about being out of range of a ph. The wifi was great once I was inside. Thanks Ros... a special place"

"Cabin was spotless and very comfortable and well equipped.Staff on reception were great and useful shop and petrol station. Great location for exploring flinders chase.Highlight was wildlife on park,koalas,kangaroos and wallabies.Amazing"

"Ocean View was absolutely fantastic! The view over Vivonne Bay was mesmerising and we loved sitting on the deck watching the waves roll in and out. Even more fun was watching the birds and little Tamar wallabies eating the food that we had put out for them in the garden only metres away from us. The house has everything we needed, including cooking utensils for a couple of gourmet meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the whole house comfortable and warm. We loved our stay at Ocean View and would love to return in the winter to use the binoculars for some whale watching. Absolutely recommend!"

"The one bedroom cabin overlooking the Southern Ocean, next stop Antartica was suberb. Wakeup to the freshest of airs and beautiful swells rolling in to greet you each day, each day different with colours and light. It is so beautiful, peace surrounds you and wildlife abounds. The cabin is cosy, comfortable, clean and a short drive to national park if you want a sit down meal or many amazing sites to be seen. This is a must do stay on this gorgeous island of OZ called Kangaroo Island. Thankyou so much for a most unique and wonderful stay. Regards Cecily and John. "

"It was centrally located on KI and Vivonne Bay was very peaceful. The house had all that we needed, kitchen was well-equipped and very comfortable. Easy access to Flinders Chase National Park which was amazing and Seal Bay."

"We loved our time at Settler’s Cottage.The views were absolutely beautiful, over looking the beach and bay. We loved the ambiance and layout of the house, with its cosy fire, the artwork and photos on the walls, and the spacious kitchen that had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave!"

"We loved the Shak! Very spacious and clean. Great location for visiting sites on the south of KI. And we especially loved seeing all of the wallabies right outside (one night there were 10 at once, and one even had a joey). This is a special place and we highly recommend it. "
