"L’attention à chaque détail, tant dans l’accueil, la décoration, les services et activités, la nourriture, est exceptionnelle, rarement vu un niveau pareil ! L’hôtel est niché au milieu d’une splendide plantation de thé, juste en lisière de la jungle. Tout est beau, et encore, nous étions au début de la saison des pluies donc avec quelques orages… mais la magie a opéré avec la visites de dizaines de singes, d’oiseaux multicolores… Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce séjour inoubliable ! Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Karambi?
The best area to stay in Karambi is typically around Karambi town centre, particularly near the main road that connects it to larger regional hubs.

This central area offers the most convenience for travellers. It's where you'll find the limited selection of guesthouses and local eateries. While not a large town, staying centrally means you're close to any essential services, such as small shops or the local market.

For solo travellers, staying close to the town centre provides easy access to public transport options, making it simpler to explore the surrounding areas, such as the nearby tea plantations or the roads leading towards the Nyungwe National Park. It also offers the most opportunities for interacting with local life.

For couples seeking a base for exploring the region's natural beauty, a guesthouse in or just outside the town centre is practical.
When is the best time to go to Karambi?
The best time to go to Karambi is during the dry season, which runs from June to September.

This period offers pleasant weather with less rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the region comfortably. The days are generally sunny and warm, great for experiencing the natural beauty of the Western Province.

For travellers interested in wildlife viewing, particularly primate trekking in nearby protected areas, the dry season is especially good. The trails are less muddy and the vegetation is less dense, improving visibility and making for a more enjoyable experience.
