My recent stay at Ajwa Sultanahmet was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the heart of Old Istanbul, this luxurious hotel offers an experience that beautifully marries opulence with warmth, making every guest feel like royalty.
From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the meticulous attention to detail in the decor, which reflects the rich history and culture of the area. We wanted a view of the Aya Sofia and we also got a view of the Blue Mosque. To think Justinian built the Aya Sofia as a Christian church in five years and nowadays you can barely get through the permit process in less than three years!! You can walk out of the hotel and you have restaurants, tourist sights, and shopping right there. Staff was helpful and so friendly. Ozzie, the concierge always had a big smile for us and a warm hug!!
