"Beautiful Place. Its warm, cosy and homely. My partner and I had a great stay here. The hosts are very friendly and the house is wonderfully clean. The photos really do not do this place justice. It is situated on a beautiful property, the fire warms the house well, the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounging areas are well equiped and make for a very relaxing stay. There is some nice walks close by, and supplies only a short drive away. We will definitely be back sometime. Would highly recommend."

"No complaints. Staff are lovely, attentive, informative & helpful. Place was clean. Love the basics that are provided with the spot. Free wifi and parking. To my surprise there was an iron & dryer provided too. Bed comes with electric blanket but our one wasn’t working although we didn’t care. There’s a microwave, pots, stove, mini fridge. Love that there’s a heat pump in the room. Good middle spot between Lowerhutt and Petone. Definitely a good spot, if you have no where to go, are travelling etc. I would say it’s good for the price."

"We had a wonderful Friday-to-Saturday stay at this Seaview Road property with our family. The house was immaculately clean, tidy, and offered clear instructions for location and entry.There was plenty of room for our family group to spread out. We especially loved the ocean views from the upstairs master bedroom and lounge, the spacious family room, and the lengthy dining table that perfectly accommodated our group. The private, locked side fence provided quick, easy access to the beachfront, and despite the frightfully cold and wet weather on our first day, the spa was hot and ready to go! The Nespresso and DeLonghi coffee machines were also a great touch (just be sure to bring your own beans and pods, as you may need them).While our experience was very good, there are a few minor downsides to keep in mind:Heating: Despite the central heating, the house felt quite cold during the chilly weather.Acoustics: The beautiful wooden flooring and cupboard and door design make it a very noisy house at night when people are moving around.Wi-Fi: While the coverage is okay across the three zones, the average download and upload speeds (around 2Mbps) made it quite difficult to interact with cloud platforms. It is fine for a complete holiday getaway, but a bit challenging if you need to get some work done.Overall, a great family spot in an unbeatable location—thank you for having us!"
