Great place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great. The unit had everything we needed. We really liked all the beach items available (beach chairs, umbrella, etc.) Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds and ocean was delightful.

We absolutely loved this studio property and all the facility amenities and convenient restaurants and stores so close by and within walking distance. This is truly a perfect place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. We look forward to a return again sometime soon.

Easy Breezy
I love staying in Kapaa for its central location. This ocean front studio was 100% as described, had everything you could need for the many beaches and also the other comforts you’d expect from any other hotel. The grounds of the condo are gorgeous. Heather stayed in communication prior to our trip, check-in was super easy, and we are leaving completely satisfied.

True to the Pictures
Really enjoyed this little spot in Kauai for our 4-night stay in October/November 2023. All the pictures are very accurate and loved spending time on the balcony. Everything was clean and we enjoyed having glasses/plates to use for our store-bought items. Thoroughly enjoyed having access to their streaming services as well to watch movies at night. Heather was very communicative on the necessary details to ensure we had a smooth stay.

A slice of Hawaiian Heaven!
Five stars is really not enough to rate how fabulous this property is as well as the owners! The owners, Heather and Khaled, have thought of absolutely everything to make the most of your stay. They were extremely thorough and thoughtful, and have set a high bar for the way they treat their guests. The condo itself has a wonderful view of the ocean (exactly like the picture!)...we could hear the waves crashing as we fell asleep, and enjoyed a few beautiful sunrises. It is a spacious studio with tons of drawer space. We never felt cramped! And the cute Hawaiian decor just added to the experience! Plus it is in walking distance to many shops, fun restaurants and the beach! Can't say enough...we had a fabulous time! Mahalo!

Wonderful experience
We had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was clean and cozy and we appreciated the little extras like the awesome ceiling fan, high pressure shower, and fun beach toys and towels. We also appreciated the excellent communication and information packet they shared with recommendations for food and activities in the area. We would definitely like to stay here again!

This was the best Vrbo experience. Everything was as it was presented and the property was fantastic. It was very comfortable and well cared for. Perfect anniversary getaway
We absolutely loved our time here! Heather went above and beyond to make our time enjoyable and comfortable, from clear communication on check in procedures to coffee and chocolate macadamia nuts to welcome us! The beach was steps away and our favorite was watching the sunrise with coffee on the lounge chairs on the beach. There are plenty of delicious food options walkable from the condo (we loved Chicken N a barrel, Sleeping Giant, and Lava Lava right on the beach was SO beautiful). We loved our days out adventuring in Poipu and nearby hikes, but definitely spent lots of time resting in the condo and by the pool. Highly recommend if your looking for a home base to explore the unbelievable beauty of the island!

Lived the dream vacation!
First, the owners were terrific. Communication with Khaled and Heather was ALWAYS friendly, quick, easy, and clear. Totally professional hosts. As for the unit: completely accurate pictures posted on the VRBO site. Very clean and inviting. In particular, there is way more room to store clothes/luggage/etc. than the photos show. They supply some great items that we used daily for beach and hiking activities (beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkeling gear, etc.). Awesome view of the nearby ocean, beach, and pool from the lanai that we used to start our mornings with coffee and breakfast from the nearby market. The property’s landscaping is immaculately groomed and offers all of the lush tropical plants, flowers, and trees that make Kauai the beautiful island that it is. The pool is fantastic, complete with a tiki bar that offers island-themed cocktails from 3-9(ish), a perfect way to end a sun-drenched day at the many nearby beaches. The property’s beach has it all: sun and sand for that golden tan, shade for that early afternoon nap, and a sunrise that is second to none. Perhaps the property’s greatest asset is its perfect location. The Coconut Marketplace is just across from the property’s main parking lot. We snacked at the popular Jo Jo’s Shave Ice, grabbed a couple of fantastic meals at the surprisingly tasty Chicken in a Barrel, ordered a pizza at Bobby V’s, and shopped for groceries/supplies most every day at the Island Country Market. This market has it all- fresh coffees/teas, deli, baked goods, groceries, breakfasts, lunches… even a prime rib they serve fresh daily. It is flanked by Lava Lava and Hukilau Lanai, two of the areas’ most popular places to dine. We found a nice little gem on the property -Johnny’s Wings- where we enjoyed a cold beverage or two before turning in for the evening. It’s central location on the island (east shore Kapa’a) makes it quick and easy to get to any beach/point of interest anywhere on the island. As you can see, I can’t say enough good things about Khaled and Heather and their property. We would absolutely, positively return for another dream vacation!

Heather and Khaled’s condo at Aston Islander on the Beach is a gem! Excellent location, central to everything, abc store and restaurants across the parking lot, beach behind the property, absolutely perfect! The condo was clean and cozy, perfect for two! 10/10 would stay again!

Stayed one night between other plans. The host/manager was lovely and a great communicator. Studio was clean but dated. Grounds maintained nicely. Pool filled with loud partiers. Beach neither beautiful nor swimmable. If you want to use this spot as a place to lay your head while explore the rest of the island, great, but in itself, it is not a place you want to spend a ton of time. You cannot feel the natural beauty of the rest of the island. It feels as if you are in a condo in Florida, not Hawaii.

Our flights were changed last minute so we had to book one extra night at a different Vrbo location. Luckily we were able to find this awesome condo that allowed for a one night stay. The room was as described and we were able to watch the sunrise with a mug of coffee. Would definitely recommend!

I loved this quaint little condo. When I came to Kauai previously I stayed at the Grand Hyatt and was used to luxury, however I adored this condo. The view was pretty, the perfect location in Kaapa behind the marketplace, and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Definitely would stay here again, loved the AC too.

Nice quiet little getaway space.
The owners were fabulous guides giving tons of details in their unit. They though of all the details and gave great suggestions for the area. Absolutely no complaints. Perfect setting and condo for two. Wished the weather had cooperated, but this condo is a perfect location as a jumping off point to visit anywhere on the island, as it’s located in Kapaa. Loved the A/C, balcony view, comfortable bed and cleanliness of the unit. Couch is not that comfortable but that’s ok, we tried to be out and about as much as possible. When we were back at the condo, the bed and lanai were more than adequate for both of us. Love the grounds, which are very well taken care of and beautiful. The sound of ocean waves so close by are very soothing and relaxing. There appeared to be some residents (or maybe some snowbirds?) that lived below that were a bit boisterous for what appeared to be the over-50 crowd, but they weren’t too crazy. Seems like they enjoyed themselves immensely and occupied the pool and jacuzzi most of the time; definitely not unfriendly. They didn’t party too late though which was nice. Wish the weather had been better because we would have used the beach chairs and other items that the owners made available. It’s obvious the owners have made this place a labor of love and pretty much are on top of things. In fact, probably the best I’ve experienced with regard to communication. Loved the fact they got in touch with me on our arrival day to let me know the condo was available early and we could check in ASAP. Absolutely made our afternoon so much better. My wife loved the extra touches (like hooks for towels and wet clothes) and the binder with so much helpful hints and information about the island, and the box of Hawaiian chocolates. I liked the fact that they had decent toilet paper (no joke! We left a VRBO in Oahu that had crappy-no pun intended-single ply stuff you can find in public restrooms)! So all the little touches, the beautiful view, the tropical grounds, the ocean being literally steps away, the thoughtfulness of the owners, and the condo being centrally located all made this a perfect spot for us. We would book this place again for certain.

I did a 4 night visit during the time Kama'aina were allowed to travel interisland, so things were pretty slow, no Mainland folks coming in. I think I was the only person in the building, and as a result the hot water had shut off in the building. I let Heather know my first night, and they immediately offered to let me move over to their ocean-front unit. Sadly that building was also out, but by the time I'd returned from fun outings for the day, Day 2, the water was back on. Mildly inconvenient, but Heather was on it right away (I think enough people are arriving now that this shouldn't be a problem in the future.) Also due to covid, the pool & spa were closed (although there were people jumping in and security would ask them to leave). Maintenance & security staff were all friendly & helpful. The unit is as described, nice and well stocked for its size. Very comfortable mattress and nice sheets. If you're looking to lay on the sand & swim, this isn't the location, but the beach out front is beautiful. I live on the Big Island but not close enough to hear the surf, so it was a joy to open the sliding doors and sleep to the roar of waves (ha ha and no coqui frogs). I drove to Hanalei to rent a standup board, the rental places in Kapaa were not open; plenty of hiking close to town, and I did find a bike rental place in Kapaa to ride the coastal trail. Plenty to see & do even if things were slowly opening back up for interisland. The complex is right behind Coconut Marketplace, many of the stores are still closed, but a good selection of restaurants are there - grab a meal and some alcohol from the best ABC store I've ever run across and eat on your lanai with a great ocean view. I would defeinitely return! Nearly everyone I met on the island was friendly & helpful, all excited to talk story and visit.

For our 18th wedding anniversary trip we selected Heather and Khaled's perfect beachfront studio. What a great choice! Centrally located to everything, truly a romantic getaway spot on Kauai. Clean and organized with amazing instructions and owner support, this space is perfect for a couple "on the go". The resort has a beautiful beachfront access and guests have the ability to walk for miles up and down the coast right out the door. The pool is well maintained and the grounds immaculate. The Coconut Marketplace is literally out the front door, with a handy market for daily needs and fun eateries, including the Sleeping Giant cafe that suited our vegetarian needs. And for fun dining on the beach, the Lava Lava Club is right next door. We have traveled to many VRBO properties and are former hosts ourselves, and never have we had such a comfortable, competent nor complete guest package as we received here. Mahalo Heather and Khaled for making our special trip the most wonderful ever!

Picture Perfect Paradise
This resort is very well maintained, grounds, pool and hot tub are meticulously kept and very lovely,, and on our 3rd floor lanai, we had the most spectacular views of the ocean, the entire pool and tiki bar area, was just mesmerizing! Our unit itself, #334, had EVERYTHING a person could need to make meals and to actually "live" comfortably. We will be back!

Wonderful Hosts
The owners of this property provide more than just a place to rest your head. They were a key part in planning our trip and from booking sent over lots of information to ensure we enjoyed the best of the island. Once we were there, they had all the equipment we needed to enjoy the beaches and hiking that Kauai has to offer. We will definitely consider this property again for future travel.
