"Excellent ryokan to stay and enjoy private onsen bath. The ryokan is super clean, neat and tidy. Dinner and breakfast meals were excellent and delicious. Staffs are super friendly. Onsen bath facilities are excellent, clean and very quiet. We had a great overnight stay here and will be back for sure in our next trip to Beppu. Highly recommended."

"I have stayed in 12 hotels on this trip, and this is the friendliest, with the kindest staff. I needed an extra pillow and they brought it to my room within a few minutes, they got me a taxi for my bus out of town, they had better then usual English understanding and treated me very well. "A bit tricky if you don’t have a car. With that in mind, I can say that the room is bigger than most, the deep bath is nice and there’s free coffee/chocolate in the community room. Free single entry tickets to an onsen place within 5 min walk are also given at check in if you don’t want to make your way to Kannawa. The hotel seems to be making an effort."
