Perfect for making family memories
Stayed with 4 generations - perfect for everyone. Big home with a great country family feeling. Kids loved indoor pool and there was plenty of space for everyone. The combustion fire was superb. Heated the house no problem. Kids did not want to leave. Kendall - host was exceptional to deal with. Highly recommend for family stays.

Absolutely incredible
We had such a brilliant stay after our wedding at the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat. Such a peaceful house filled with lots of fun for both the adults and the kids ! Our little one could not get enough of the chickens and the playground and we enjoyed battling each other in the pinball machine and enjoying a relaxing glass of wine! Is recommend the property to anyone and hope we can come back one day!

It was a spacious home with everything you could possibly need. We swam, we roasted marshmallows and we had a great time. There were toys for the kids and a pool table for the adults. Brilliant!

Excellent communication and flexibility
Kendall was so lovely to deal with. we got married at the Bush retreat literally next-door. The owners easily arranged a pre-wedding inspection just so we could work out who would have which rooms. And the icing on the cake was we got a late check out which was very helpful on the Sunday. Definitely book as an overflow for a bush retreat wedding.

Practically Perfect
Well…..as usual with Stayz the cost was far far more than advertised BUT at least this time it was the WHOLE property. Last time it was just a 1/4 of the home. Good place for small children and in the heat the indoor pool was great. The bathrooms were awkwardly placed as two reception rooms were converted to bedrooms. However everyone managed. I would suggest replacing the unbelievably uncomfortable outdoor seats with Adirondacks. Good space. Great breezes.

Perfect house for a weekend away
House was amazing. It rained one of the 2 days we were there and there was more than enough within the house to keep everyone entertained (including the indoor pool, pool table, pinball and multiple TVs). Kendall was super helpful and easy to contact before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a weekend away with a group of friends/family.

A great place for a relaxed weekend with family and/friends
A great experience from the minute we booked. Kendall is a great host; responsive to questions and requests and providing us with lots of information about the house and attractions in the area. The kitchen was well equipped. We ordered food from the neighboring farm and then had a great time cooking up a storm. Separate living areas meant that the adults and teenagers had their own spaces to socialize. We had a large group with varying interests from cycling and walking, shooting hoops and exploring the garden, to sitting in front of the fire with a good book. Everyone was happy! Would highly recommend this property for larger groups.

Amazing house in Kangaroo Valley
Our group of three families stayed here during the April school holidays (five adults and seven kids). It was the perfect house for our group - more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms, lots of great entertainment options with the games room and amazing outdoor spaces. The kids loved the swimming pool which was well equipped with pool noodles and pool toys and also the games room, the outdoor playground kept them entertained…and I have to admit I loved the pinball machine and pool table. Highly recommend this property for big groups!

Caters for a crowd - did not disappoint
We had a great time, we were at Kangaroo Valley for a family wedding and the property (which is beautiful) was large enough to sleep 16 and not be on top of each other – plenty of space. It had a wide range of facilities as described to entertain all ages from 4 - 81 which did not disappoint. Communication with Kendall prior to check in was faultless, as was communication with Simon the caretaker on the day and during the stay. I highly recommend this property. A pity we had 3 rainy days, but even so, there was plenty to keep the kids & young adults involved. Great home for a holiday.

Magic couple of days Kangaroo Valley
We arrived on a hot March afternoon and sat outside enjoying the view over the dam. A swim was refreshing in the indoor pool. The temperature was surprisingly cool and enjoyable. We had a family BBQ with plenty of room. The teens spent their time outdoors playing basketball or in the games room and loved it. We attended a wedding and had plenty of bathrooms for everyone to get organised. The bus from the wedding venue collected majority of our party and dropped home.

The property has been further improved since our last stay with expansion to 6 bedrooms, 7 TVs around the hose, 4 bathrooms, games room + inside heated pool. Outside the kids enjoyed the swings and the play area with half basketball court and also had fun kayaking on the lake. A pity we had 3 rainy days, but even so, there was plenty to keep the kids involved and adults. Great home for a holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon the caretaker. The house was big enough for our family, and there was plenty to do for everyone. The view was spectacular, the fresh eggs were great, and the kids loved the warm pool. Would love to come back!

Perfect getaway
My family and I loved staying at this property, our only regret is that we didn’t book it for longer. The house is kitted out with everything you need and there’s so much space for a large group of people. We found it so relaxing walking around the property, relaxing in the hammock and sitting by the fire pit having a drink. Our son especially loved the playground, as well as watching the chickens in the orchard and playing with all the toys in the house. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Kangaroo Valley.

This property has it all!
Brilliant property and very well thought out for entertaining guests, friends and family. This property had a games room for the boys kitted with a PlayStation, pool table and pin ball machine, an indoor pool that is heated and enjoyable even in winter, bikes to enjoy the grounds, a dam with a fire pit in the centre for the nights and much much more. Will definitely be back with friends and family as it’s the perfect get away.

We have been going away for getaways with this group of friends since 1994 and we were definitely not disappointed with Wahroonga, the house was everything you could wish for, no item had been forgotten! We had an amazing time, & all agreed it was a very relaxing few days, some of us didn't even leave the premises. The property is beautiful, plenty of space for the kids to run around. Kendall has been very thoughtful in setting up 2 x play area for the kids and a small concreted basketball area. There were bikes for rides and plenty of board games and electronic games for the kids. The pool table and huge TV's in almost ever room is amazing, the lounge quality and the kitchen very well equipped. The house is beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. Being able to collect fresh eggs every morning was a bonus and the kids had a ball doing it. 5-stars through and through.

A stunning property!
We thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed during our Easter break at Wahroonga. The children loved the chickens and collecting the eggs, the play equipment, games room, dress ups, toys and having lots of room to run around both inside & out. The fire pit was a massive hit which we used each night. The house was very well equipped - beds super comfortable and a big thanks for plenty of fridge space! Simon, the manager, was very welcoming and promptly addressed the one issue we had. Many happy memories were made here over the 4 days with some beautiful photos to treasure. Wonderful house - absolutely wonderful- so big and expansive-and 10 acres of property property - indoor pool a little on the cool side - certainly not the 25 - 28 it was meant to be but kids don’t seem to notice - fire pit on an island - bikes to ride - and so so so quiet at night - great communication with owner/manager - only negative thing was the temperature of the pool did not reach the 25 degree minimum

We stayed 3 nights at this property and we truly enjoyed it. It has everything you need for an enjoyable break with family: pool and other games for kids, pool table, playing area, etc. The chicken coop was the kids favorite, they would check it a few times a day for fresh eggs! The property was clean and well-equipped. The property owner and the agent were also easily contactable for any questions, which was great.

Great getaway Kendall was prompt and patient with all queries during the booking process, the place was amazing. He also checked in to make sure we were settling in ok. Great secluded stays for family
We really had great time staying at this property. Indoor pool, pin ball machine, , fresh daily eggs and big.. really big yards to play any outdoor activities in this secluded area. The host prepared the pool heated on check in so the kids were ready to jump in. The host gave a very detail doc about the property and activities to do around which was very attentive. Our extended family of 3 generations gathered together to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday and Christmas. We had a great week at Wahroonga, exploring Kangaroo Valley and the surrounding areas. The property was well appointed and as listed with plenty of room and activities for 14 people ranging in age from 2 to 73. Kendall (owner) and Simon (caretaker) were very responsive and helpful.
