It is a symbol of identity in Kandyan Architecture. In the olden days, the king would stand there to address his citizens who were gathered in front of him. The golden roof behind stands over the Buddha tooth relic that this temple is famous for. First of all the condition of bathroom and the cleanliness of the room in general was really poor, insect on the floor, mold and dirty at evwry corner.In the morning, after informing the reception that the water was cold, and after the visit of some staff, we have been forced to take cold shower, since the problem was not solved after more than 40 minutes. In additio the quality of the food (dinner and breakfast) below average with limited options. UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT UPLOAD THE PICTURES OF THE DISGUSTING BATHROOMS WE FOUND

Nice with good family room option

We had a very good stay. We booked the family room for our family of four. There are actually 4 single beds and 1 double beds, so the room can accommodate a larger family. It has a living room area and a kitchen area with a table (with four chairs). The room was convenient for us. Breakfast is buffet style. The options are okay, but a little limited and coffee is really not good. The dinner buffet is better and actually quite good. They also had a small band playing some music, which was quite nice.

Nice hotel on top of the hill.Good view from balcony.We saw lots of monkeys playing and wandering around.However nothing much within walking distance.Must be an at least 30 mins walk into town.

Great service, standard facilities.

The staff at this hotel are very attentive and the service is excellent if at times it reminded us a little of Faulty Towers. Food is of reasonable quality but did not vary much over our long stay. Do not order the pizzas! However, the Christmas buffet was a treat. The room was suffice but the shower was slow and often without hot water. The bathroom flooded after each shower. There was only internet on the balcony. Overall, this is a pleasant hotel for those not expecting luxuries. The staff compensate for the condition of the hotel. It is a pleasant walk along the lake or a short tuk-tuk ride to town.

キャンディ湖を見渡せるビュースポットから徒歩10分位のところにあります。駅からはスリーウィラーで３００ルビーでした。良い感じの部屋でしたが、シャワーのお湯があまり出ないのが残念でした。ホテルスタッフはとても親切で好印象でした。

Fint men mycket oljud.

Trevligt ställe men tyvärr ett stort problem... Mycket lyhört,bodde under restaurangen och hörde varje steg som togs. Detta från före 6 på morgonen till c.a. 23 på kvällen. Kanske bättre i andra rum men undvik att bo under restaurangen om möjligt. Poolen var kall. God service dock både i reception och restaurang. God buffé både till frukost och middag men middagen kändes något dyr.

Sehr gut! Wir sind mit einem mulmigen gefühl eingereist,(weil wir von Hotel Sansu Colombo sehr entäuscht waren)danach wollten wir das Zimmer besichtigen und wir waren Überrascht. Weil es das Gegenteil von Sansu war.
