Loved our stay in Kandy, this hotel was so comfortable and so accommodating. The shower was amazing, I slept so well on the bed, even excellent pillows! The breakfast was also outstanding, we were sad to leave the hotel to go on to our next destination!

King of Kandy was comfortable, walkable to the major sites, good value and spotless. The manager used to work as a cook and makes great breakfasts. Persist when looking for it; it's on a private road but there is a sign.

This place deserves to be popular. Nice, clean, modern, balcony, breakfast, laundry service. Short walk around the lake into town. But even better are the staff. They helped me alot when I needed a bit of help contacting guides for other trips i'd arranged. And they helped chase away the monkeys at breakfast, because those monkeys will get your breakfast if you're not fast enough.

The guys managing this property were exceptionally kind and polite. Called me an Uber when I needed it, advised me on the area and even showed me a tricky short cut to some excellent restaurants in the vicinity. Check out the No Name restaurant and nearby pizza! Breakfast was excellent and the chef is top notch!

It is hidden gem. Excellent service for cheaper price. Selvaraj, Kingsley and Gegath are great people and helped on anything. Food is great. Would recommend to anyone wants to stay in Kandy.

I'm so glad I found this unique place that felt like our private tower in Kandy. The name actually lives up to the hotel. The rooms and halls are spacious and airy, the balcony with breakfast tables and lots of space for exercising and enjoying the mountain view... A walk to the lake nearby is like a mini safari: bats, iguanas, ducks, fish and turtles entertain your morning. The comfort, aesthetics and stuff are great. I'd come back here.

Je ne recommande pas cet hĂŽtel tant que les travaux d'agrandissement de l'hĂŽtel (ils sont loin d'ĂȘtre terminĂ©s) et les chantiers de refection qui ont lieu juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© ne seront terminĂ©s. Impossible de se reposer tant le bruit est gĂȘnant. Ils travaillent mĂȘme le dimanche et jusqu'Ă  19h30/20h le soir avec des lampes, juste sous la fenĂȘtre des chambre. Ol y a bien un balcon, mais on ne peut pas en profiter. C'est dommage car si les parties communes ne sont pas bien entretenues, les chambres sont plutĂŽt bien, trĂšs propre. C'est dommage tout ce bruit nous a vraiment dĂ©rangĂ©. Autre chose, nous avions rĂ©server une chambre "Deluxe", spacieuse et rĂ©glĂ© Hotel.com en consĂ©quence. Ils nous ont donnĂ© la chambre Ă©conomique, bien plus petite. A force de rĂ©clamer ils ont fini par nous faire dĂ©mĂ©nager dans une chambre correspondant Ă  notre rĂ©servation Ă  partir de la deuxieme nuit. Encore une chose nous nous sommes aperçu le soir que dans la salle de bain, sur les 2 Ă©clairage seul une ampoule led a trĂšs faible eclairage fonctionnait. Ils nous ont alors installĂ© une lampe d'appoint pour dĂ©pannage. Voir photo. Notre sĂ©jour n'a pas ete agrĂ©able. Bref, je dĂ©conseille vivement cet hĂŽtel
