Bill was there ready for us to check in as soon as we arrived so easy. The apartment was clean everything we needed the bedding was amazing! Close to everything you need restaurants, convenience stores and bus stops.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The property supplied everything one could imagine. Even the most random things like shoe warmers. It was in a great location and we had a little bar right next to us so we could stop for a drink. Easy walk to the historic town or to the Samurai village. I would highly recommend it.

This hotel had everything one would need for a short or long stay. It went beyond my expectations in both the facilities/ amenities and staff service. The location was perfect close to everything and a two minutes walk from the station and bus terminals including the tourist loop bus. This is an authentic Japanese experience; it is in an out-of-the-way part of Kanazawa but there is a regular shuttle to the Station. The best thing about our stay is the staff service. They were all amazing and made you feel very welcome.

Space and facilities

We received a warm and helpful welcome from Bungo (whose english is great) and his Mum. They do a great job between them of keeping the Ryokan going. Our room was large by Japanese Ryokan standards with a private shower and small tiled Japanese style soaking bath. The Japanese style table and chairs were able to be left in place in addition to our 2 Japanese style beds. We also had an enclosed balcony with a low table and 2 armchairs that overlooked a tidy private Japanese courtyard...
