Nice hotel in a convenient location to tourist sites. Large rooms. Staff was helpful in making dinner reservations (a must if you hope to get in anywhere for dinner). Breakfast was a nice spread of Japanese and western.

It was very close to the castle park and had a number of options for dining nearby, though we walked a bit further out to go to some specific places. The breakfast was in the building next door one of the days with a great view of the whole city. That hotel seemed a bit more luxury, but the room in ours was comfortable and spacious, so no complaints.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Very disappointing experience. The hotel is old, poorly maintained, and has a terrible cigarette smell throughout. The room felt dirty and uncomfortable, and the smell was unbearable. I had no choice but to leave and book another hotel. I am still waiting for a full refund, as the conditions were completely unacceptable. Definitely not worth the money. I would never stay here again and do not recommend it.
