The hotel reception was amusing with its two resident dinosaurs 😀 The staff we saw were very nice and helpful. Hotel room was spacious compared to what we have been in and it was in a great location to see Kanazawa Castle and many other sites.

The dinosaur check in is not just a gimmick, this is as nice as anywhere else i have stayed so far. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable There were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area and they were all walkable.

We were located walking distance from Kenrokuen garden, Kanazawa Castle and Omicho market. Also walked to the Chaya district from there. Love Kanazawa. Would stay here again. The only thing is the bathroom sink area is very very tiny, but we made it work for us.

Really nice place that is super close to many of the main attractions of Kanazawa. The staff were super kind and helped us out when we needed some help. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. I enjoyed the velociraptor animatronics and would definitely come back again if I am in the area. Super good value!

Good location for Kanazawa

Good location for visitors to Kanazawa as easily walkable to many sights and a bus ride away from main station. Good size room too compared to other hotels we used in Japan. Check in with the dinosaurs was straightforward. Breakfast was very basic and noisy with sounds from the reception area.

Fantastic and unique hotel, with its own dinosaur charm. The rooms are very large, with minimal style and are comfortable. The area around the hotel is safe and convenient for shops/cafes/restaurants. The dinosaur concierge were the best part! Highly recommend, if you want a unique experience in Kanazawa!

This is truly a wonderful hotel. Sure, I was mostly looking forward to seeing the dinosaurs, but this hotel delivered beyond that - great location, good amenities, and a very welcoming and helpful staff. We appreciated the laundry timer feature on the TV (you may need to extend the dry cycle twice, that’s typical unless you have fast-drying clothes) and other thoughtful touches that help maximize usable space within the room. No complaints, I would happily stay here again!

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed in a Japanesque room which was very comfortable, clean and new. I would definitely stay here again just for the convenience of the location - we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit and the Omicho Market, Kanazawa Castle and the gardens are all just a few minutes away. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby. No service as such (just the robot dinosaurs) but all the automated services were easy to use and we could leave our bags in secure storage after we checked out. I thought the hotel was very good value.

Great hotel

This hotel is well located making visiting the city a breeze! (You can pretty much walk anywhere) It was clean and offered comfortable beds. The mini fridge was great to keep milk for coffee. Get yourself some of the coffee bags with the built-in drip pouches and your set as there is an electric kettle. The lobby has extra convenience items you can pickup (bathrobe, wash cloths, etc) and a microwave so you can warm up food from the Lawson across the street. The check in is done by the velociraptors robots which is pretty neat but they have phones to call staff for help if needed. They have a large storage area if you want to leave your luggage there before checking in or after checking out.

We love this place! Incredible value for your $$. Very healthy breakfast buffet. Includes miso soup, fish, eggs, salad bar, fruits, etc. Got our salad fix every morning to combat two weeks of extreme carb consumption. LOL. The room was spacious as compared to rooms in Tōkyō and Kyoto. Cherry blossoms were amazing in Kanazawa. Love the slower pace of this smaller city. Highly recommend!!
