I stayed at the Ginger Hotel from Nov-26-2025 to Nov-29-2025 after arriving to Kochi Kerala after three days of flying. My stay was exceptional. I'll start with the food, there was a wide variety of options to choose from for both breakfast and Dinner. All of which were extremely delicious. The staff at the restaurant were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job daily. The staff at reception and the man who assisted with the luggage were also pleasant and helpful. The rooftop pool was well maintained. As far as pricing goes, I don't have much to compare it to since that was the only Hotel I stayed at in Kochi but I do know I can get similar quality for less in other places. With all things considered I highly recommend Ginger Kochi, Kalamassery.

Great location if you are visiting CUSAT and the metro station is just a stone throw away making it convenient to visit downtown. Breakfast has nice variety of choices.

Had an amazing stay at Ginger Kochi. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful for anything and everything that we came up with. The atmosphere is amazing, the food, gym, as well as the pool is awesome! I really enjoyed the stay with my family. Will definitely stay here next time I come to Kochi.

The ginger brand definitely improved and learned from other good budget hotels in Asia. It was a 5 star experience in terms of a comfortable bed, good flowing hot shower, and a safe. It was very conveniently located near the Cochin Metrol. Recommended if you want a nice decent place to sleep at a good price.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, it is a relatively new hotel with adequate facilities and close proximity to the metro and a short taxi ride to the airport. The staff could have been a little more attentive, I had to call reception twice to get housekeeping to attend to a problem with the television. However all in all it was a good experience and I would recommend and stay again.

Very affordable, clean, wonderful property near the University and right next to the metro station making for a convenient spot to stay and travel to other parts if needed. The room was comfortable, clean, with basic amenities present. The staff were great, very nice and welcoming. Just a couple of pointers: would’ve very much appreciated a Do not disturb sign as that would’ve helped let me communicate with the staff that I didn’t need my room cleaned and would’ve let me sleep in better. Also the restaurant needs to increase their options for guests including more authentic Kerala dishes, a bar menu and better coffee (filter coffee perhaps). Apart from these minor details, would highly recommend the place to stay!

USA Family of 4 - 3 night stay was good

We were on 7th Floor, liked the view but needed Fresh Air Ventilation. The Rooftop pool was very nice! Not many English speakers in this town. The Breakfast was nice but Nothing for Americans except Watermelon and Coffee. the French Toast was not made with Eggs and there was no Maple syrup. the Chef needs to do his homework for what Western travelors like to eat. The laundry service was nice!. the Room Service was ok but the people taking orders by room phone don't understand English very well. I would stay here again but only if I get a cheap deal. Thank God there was a KFC at the base of the hotel to get some Edible chicken! and why doesn't India have Diet Coke? Why is most of their soda flat, with no bubbles or ice?

USA Says Nice but Could be better if English speak

Family of 4, 2 rooms. The room need Fresh Air, there is NO Ventilation. The A/C must run 24/7 for breathing. The view is nice but the rooms start to smell with no air running. No Washclothes. The Breakfast has almost Nothing for USA travelers, they had "French Toast" but it was only bread with no eggs and no honey or maple syrup. The Room Service Menu is in local language and English but they staff really Does Not Know English. Communication was very hard, they really did not understand my English. I don't they they are stupid, I just think the lack of English (or Hindi) makes a good service very difficult. I LOVED the Rooftop Pool, very nice rooftop swimming and great Gym!!
