"Not the fanciest or most up to date hotel, but very clean, solid and well maintained, not run down at all. Their claim to fame is a place where the Hollywood stars would stay while making films. All the rooms have both room numbers and actors' names."

The entire space smelled dirty, like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The carpet was filthy—stained, grimy, and honestly uncomfortable to even walk on. It was so bad that we didn’t stay. We immediately left, checked into a different hotel, and forfeited the night’s fee just to get out of there. That’s how unacceptable the room was. Please don’t be misled by the glowing reviews. Our experience was the complete opposite, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values cleanliness or basic comfort."

"The hotel was a fun find. We stayed here for one night on our way to pick up our daughter from GCU. We love boutique hotels and Canyons didn’t disappoint! The hotel staff was excellent, we enjoyed using the complimentary cruiser bikes to explore downtown Kanab and the room was clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend Canyons if you’re looking for something other than a chain hotel. "
