Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Kampung Opar?
The best time to visit Kampung Opar is during the dry season, which typically runs from April to September.During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny days and lower humidity, making outdoor activities and exploring the village much more comfortable. This period is ideal for those looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, including the local waterfalls and rainforest trails, without the interruption of heavy rainfall. It's also when cultural events and longhouse visits are often at their most accessible, as roads and paths are in better condition. While the wet season (October to March) brings lush greenery and fewer visitors, it also means more frequent and sometimes heavy downpours, which can impact travel plans and outdoor excursions.
