"I cannot fault the location at all. The area and the views from this hotel are stunning. My experience for this stay was very bad none the less. Here is a list of the problems I encountered in something like order of how concerning they were. Minor annoyances: -I am 6'2" and ~170lbs. The doors throughout the hotel are too short for me to walk through upright. This wouldn't have been as much of a problem if the door to our suite (102) would have been wide enough to walk through without turning sideways. They were double doors with only one of them having a knob. You can open the second only after you open the first and reach through to unlatch it from the inside. -The hot water lasted less than a minute in the shower. Our stay was during off-peak season so I am unsure if all the suites were even full and we could not get enough hot water to finish a single fast shower. Major Problems: -"

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome—warm, attentive, and always ready to help without being intrusive. "The ONLY positive thing about this property was its phenomenal location and that is where the positives end and the negatives begin. For starters, the property did not pay their cable bill and as a result there was no TV in our room. No big deal because we can live without TV on vacation. In fairness, the manager responded quickly and tried to “fix” a “cable” problem, but we already knew what the problem was and it wasn’t a wire, it was non-payment!!! He said it would be fixed the next day and that never happened. The real issue though was that the property blew a fuse and there was NO electricity for 12 hours and the property manager was nowhere to be found. When he did respond, instead of owning up to it, the host said the entire village was without power, which was a bold-faced LIE as ALL of Oia was LIT UP! The reality is that it was only his 4 or 5 units and within 30 seconds of the maintenance crew showing up 12 hours later, the electricity was back on!!! That is not a village problem, that is a JUST BLUE problem. We can handle no TV. We can handle a fuse blowing, but we can't handle the unresponsiveness to our requests to fix it. The worst part though is that they LIED to hide the truth AND that is unacceptable. NOBODY should have to pay their hard earned money for an accommodation that has NO POWER for half a day!!!!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!!!! "

"ONE OF MY WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCES AND AFTER TRAVELLING TO OVER 40 COUNTRIES,I HAVE NEVER FELT THE NEED TO LEAVE A BAD REVIEW UNTIL NOW:I had a very disappointing experience at Anemomilos.I specifically paid for a bright white designer-style room with an indoor hot tube& distinctive design features, including a well design bed shown in the listing.However,upon arrival I was given a completely different room with darker and more basic interior lacking the design and features that influenced my choice and instead of an indoor hot tube it had an outdoor hot tub.The hotel’s response was to say that it was the same“room category,”but this does not reflect the reality of the experience.The room I received was clearly different.An indoor hot tub and an outdoor one r not equivalent,particularly in cold, windy, weather,where the outdoor facility becomes effectively unusable.As a result, a major feature I paid for could not be used at all and Idid not receive the room experience I had selected which significantly impacted my stay.When I raised the issue,I did not feel supported.I did not feel treated with the level of respect and professionalism expected.I also did not feel genuinely welcomed during my interaction with staff which added to the overall negative experience.Ispent several hrs trying to resolve the issue with Expedia,but was only met with automated responses with no outcome.the repetitive nature of these responses further added to the frustration.Overall disappointing"

"This was our 2nd stay but this time we were in the older Naxos resort section rather than the galaxy section but enjoyed the room even though it wasn’t renovated as much (updated but not renovated). Breakfast was fabulous as last time. Enjoyed the discounted beach sunbeds. Location is the best in Naxos as you’re right on the beach and only a short walk to amazing restaurants. We hope to return for a 3rd visit !! "
