"A really really lovely hotel. We had a fantastic room with views out to the sea and Kalkan harbour, with a covered terrace. Service was first class, as was the food. can't fault it at all. The hotel was in a quiet location, with relatively easy walking to a couple of beach clubs and The Castle, which we also enjoyed. And only a 3 minute £3 taxi ride into the centre of Kalkan."

"The Courtyard is so much more beautiful than any photo can suggest. The bougainvillea cascade over the inner courtyard full of welcoming nooks and leafy arbors. My room was spacious and full of light, with a full balcony overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast terrace is seaside, the beach is a 5 minute walk directly down the hill. "I had visited Kalkan on four previous occasions and enjoyed the lovely bar at the Elixir Hotel, although I had never stayed here. On a solo visit this time, I preferred a hotel over a villa, and booked a deluxe room at the Elixir. There are lots of choices in gorgeous Kalkan, but I made a very good decision.
