Shared bath was clean, accommodated my late arrival, good wifi, and plenty of privacy. It's only a few minutes a way from the boat tours if you're interested in that. Would definitely recommend for travelers in the south.

Super cute & clean place to sleep for the night. My only complaint was that the time breakfast was scheduled for was not accurate & I didn’t have much time to eat before leaving, so I wasn’t able to really get my moneys worth for what I paid for & options were limited. I would stay here again just maybe not opt in for breakfast in the am if you have plans right away.

Clean and comfortable bedroom with its own sink and a (surprising) chandelier! Beautiful, rural location (although unfortunately the driving wind and rain prevented us from seeing or enjoying it to the full). We did not see any member of staff (we arrived during check-in hours, but just found a handwritten note sellotaped to the front door and then had to find our own way to our room). The shared bathroom was also really disappointing - water all over the floor, lots of hair in the shower plughole, and when we took a shower it was clear the drain was blocked). Soap was also running out at the sink in our bedroom. I tried to find a member of staff to let them know, but no-one was to be found! Based on previous reviews, we decided not to opt for breakfast (additional cost per person) but it was nice to make ourselves a cup of tea. Overall I’m afraid this was not the best or friendliest place during our road trip, and felt over priced, which is a real shame.

A lovely, relaxing place to stay in a beautiful pastoral setting located just 20 minutes from the ice lagoon - in my opinion the most beautiful spot in Iceland! Our room was very clean, bright and spacious with great views. Our hostess was helpful and offered freshly baked cookies to all. The exterior is not imposing but the inside is well appointed and kitchen facilities good. The bathrooms also were clean and well appointed. I would recommend it to anyone not looking for ultra-modern accommodation!

I loved how peaceful this property is. There is an old church and cemetery and the mountain rise up behind the lodging. There are a few good restaurants within 10 mins. The host made a yummy breakfast.

Nice guesthouse with very clean washrooms. The free breakfast was a great bonus. We got the 3 beds room which was comfy but however a bit small. Otherwise everything else was very nice.

This is a truly charming place to stay—spotlessly clean with spacious bathrooms, especially compared to other places we've stayed. The breakfast is a real highlight and a big bonus. I highly recommend trying the homemade jams—they’re deliciously original, with unique flavors like carrot-lemon and rhubarb. Thora, our host, is incredibly kind and welcoming; she truly makes you feel at home.

The host was so kind and attentive. The view from the bedroom window was brilliant. In the heart of the Icelandic countryside. Incredibly we were certain we even saw an arctic fox from the window although I was not quick enough in getting my 'phone to photograph it (and prove it !). The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

Kind manager who provided a lovely breakfast. The heart waffles were delicious! The number of washrooms at times could be a little annoying, but having a sink in the room was such a help that it was quite bearable.

This was a room only, shared bathroom and kitchen stop for us. The lady owner waited for us to arrive up to a late hour, and prepared sandwiches for us to leave before breakfast, thank you. The room for 3 was on a really small side, but for 1 night was ok for us. The room was clean and has a small sink, which is a bonus. The location is off the main road about 15 min or so, is quiet and peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The host Thora is extremely nice and accommodating. Check in was easy, Thora met us and provided all necessary information. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. Although there are shared bathrooms they were very clean and there is a sink in the room. She made an amazing breakfast with homemade jams. The property is beautiful.

This guesthouse was amazing. The shared bathroom was kept immaculate all the time. Beds were very comfy. Nice to have a sink in the room. Thora was a very welcoming host and her homemade jams at breakfast were super tasty. Very comfortable. Perfect location off the ring road very near the National park and glacier lagoons. Very pleased with our stay.

Simple and comfortable. The property was easy to find and we were met by the host who was lovely. The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. Expedia does not list breakfast as an amenity but it was included. There are also lists of local activities to consider as well as a list of nearby restaurants to chose from if you want supper. A lovely stay.

While the host was fantastic and made a lovely breakfast. The bed and room is very comfy... It would be nice to have a bit more than a hot water kettle or microwave for a small warm meal after traveling in the cold all day. I was really glad to have had a cup of noddles. as I did not want to drive to another "hotel/guesthouse" for dinner. I had planned a head and am traveling with some groceries for easy meals on the ring road... as you cannot always depend on restaurants.
