This was the hotel I was most excited about in Iceland and it did not disappoint. The location and property is beautiful. The hot tubs and sauna were such nice amenities. We had dinner at the restaurant on site which was beyond delicious. Our room was very comfortable with so many thoughtful little touches to make us feel right at home, especially enjoyed the towel warmer. I loved this place.

Just 10 minutes from the glacier lagoon and all the excursions, plus the diamond beach and other attractions. The hotel is clean, cozy and beautiful with amazing views. The hot tubs and saunas are great too. The whole place is built for comfort and convenience. Your all in one hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, spa area is included and very beautiful. I like to be fully transparent on reviews for others considering a stay. My only complaint was the restaurant, I felt like the food was not very good, it was the most expensive meal I had over 10 days and nowhere near the best. I would stay again though because the spa and property are beautiful.

Our stay at Glacier Lagoon Hotel was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcomed. Every team member was incredibly well-mannered, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their professionalism and warmth made a huge difference in our experience. Due to weather conditions, we needed to stay an extra night, which allowed us to experience two different room types: a Standard Room and a Family Suite. Both were incredibly comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The Family Suite, in particular, was exceptionally spacious and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. The food deserves special mention: simply the best. Every meal was delicious, well prepared, and thoughtfully presented. Dining at the hotel was a highlight of our stay. The sauna was another wonderful surprise—spotlessly clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, Glacier Lagoon Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Exceptional service, amazing food, immaculate rooms, and excellent wellness facilities. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel and views. Dinner was the worst thing, but we went to a nearby hotel for dinner on our second night and it was the best meal! Breakfast at the hotel was awesome! And the bartenders…outstanding!!!
