Wilder Kaiser mountains, North Tyrolia, Austria

View of the main range of Wilder Kaiser mountains. They belong to the Northeastern Limestone Alps and rise up to 2.400 meters of height. You can either climb the jagged peaks or you can hike just below their white walls. The traditional hike route is called the Adlerweg (=Eagle's path) and its part in Wilder Kaiser from St. Johann to Kufstein takes an easy although distance-wise longer 3-day hike.

The meadows slope is called the Baumgartenalm and in the view from Baumgartenkreuz 1.572 m you can see from left to right the summits of Regalpspitze (2.253 m), Ackerlspitze (2.329 m) and Maukspitze (2.231 m).

"Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen! Die Appartements waren hochwertig, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet – perfekt für unsere große Familie mit 17 Erwachsenen, 3 Kindern und einem Hund. Besonders schön waren die großzügigen Terrassen, die privaten Saunen und die ruhige Lage mit traumhaftem Ausblick. Auch die Nähe zu tollen Ausflugszielen wie den Krimmler Wasserfällen oder der Wildkogel-Bahn war ideal."

"Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Chalet. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und ausgestattete Küche. Schöne Sitzecke und geräumiger Balkon mit 2 Liegestühlen und Essbereich. Und als Sahnehäubchen auf dem Kuchen, eine schöne Aussicht, wie in einem Gemälde zu treten. Unten zusätzliche Sitz- und Liegeflächen unter den Bäumen und vor dem Chalet. "The room was very clean. It was studio style. It has an open shower concept, but the toilet is in its own room. The location is awesome because everything is close by and it is a beautiful little town."

"We had a great experience here. We utilized the train system and its within walking distance to the hotel. Roughly around 10 min walk. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful I. Giving recommendations on where to eat and shop. That area, is also walking distance from the hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was delicious. "

"Love staying here and always enjoy my visit! My only concern this time is that the hot water heater for tea/coffee in the room was very old and was shedding plastic inside the pot when water was heated. That urgently needs to be replaced!"
