Family Getaway

Great location but condo dated

On the positive side, the location is great, as is the development and pool area. The accommodation itself is clean. However, the condo is very dated and below the standard we have seen for the same price range.

Perfect North Shore spot

Loved the location next to Ritz Carlton property and very central to north shore locations and activities. Condo was clean, well equipped and as expected. Internet via the Wi-Fi was a bit intermittent but could have been a short-term issue. Otherwise was a perfect stay.

Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood

We wanted to stay outside of Waikiki and this location near Turtle Bay was perfect. We were near the beaches, close to some of the towns but far enough away where it wasn’t overly busy.

Perfectly located

Looking for something away from busy congestion but close enough to local food and convenience stores. Walked to the beach every day for snorkeling and just relaxing on the sand. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Nice property at Turtle Bay with walkable beach access, pools, tennis and basketball courts. We stayed 5 nights in Waikiki so it was nice to have a couple nights out on the North Shore where it was much quieter and mellowerm

Great location, helpful property manager

We had a quick trip to Hawaii to visit our daughter. The condo was nice, clean and the AC was really nice to have. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the resort and trails and a short drive from Kahuku, Haleiwa. The condo felt very safe. We will definitely look at staying here again!

Amazing retreat from the crowds

This was an incredible property for our family to visit during our trip to Oahu. We wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and Honolulu and are so glad we did. The surrounding area is beautiful. There are lots of incredible things to do. The host was responsive and thoughtful in this house has everything you need. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

This place was great! Everything was clean and fresh, there were plenty of linens, beach gear; even condiments and spices. The ac was greatly appreciated. The owners gave fantastic instructions and communications on a couple items were quick and promptly addressed. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Nice North Shore rental

This was a comfortable condo for our family of 4. Everything worked well and A/C kept the entire unit cool. Very quiet, easy access to all North Shore activities. The king bed is on the firm side, but all reviews stated so. Would stay here again.

Overall, our stay was good. The condo is located in a very nice area and convenient to other activities on the island. It was nice to have a/c and proximity to the pool was convenient. The condo wasn’t a clean as expected. Also the kitchen could use a few more cooking items. I feel the price was a bit high for what we got. My extended family rented a condo just like this one during the same week for much less.

Perfect for family of 4

The communication with the Property manager was superb. We needed an iron and one was sent immediately. The check-in process was a breeze. The designated parking spot is a short walk but there are guest parking spaces directly across from condo. Do note that the condo is an upstairs unit. When we 1st arrived the place was hot and stuffy but once we turned the AC on it cooled down rather quickly. The condo itself felt like we were staying at a family member’s home. The place felt cozy. My daughters LOVED the queen mattresses in the loft. They mentioned it felt like they were sleeping by on a cloud. However, the king bed in the master room was too firm for our liking. If you like a firm mattress, this bed is for you. There are beach toys & 2 chairs for your use. The golf course trail was lovely for an early morning run and Tranquility pool is within walking distance. Our overall stay was lovely and we would definitely stay here again.

Location location location

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It's right on the golf course and although we didn't play, we did utilize the course for miles of jogging in the mornings. Cutting across the course it was a short 5 minute walk to the ocean and there are miles of beach to explore past Turtle Bay. The condo itself had been partially remodeled, which the photos accurately reflect, but temper your expectations a bit as this condo complex (and all of Turtle Bay) is a bit dated overall and has a 1980's vibe going. That said, it's been kept up well for its age, but if you are after the modern look, then Waikiki might be a better place to look. The condo was well appointed with a great selection of beach equipment, small cooler, and kitchenware. Note that you will want to bring your own bar soap as we missed this was not one of the standard amenities. There are 3 pools on the property, but note that they are fairly small, so lap swimming doesn't work well. Air conditioning in the master bedroom was pretty loud, so if you are a light sleeper plan on leaving the bedroom door open and use the living room AC instead.

Turtle Bay Condo

Property manager was super friendly & quick to send the directions to the location with instructions on how to get in which was pretty easy. Kitchen was small but functional with the exception of maybe needing a few more pots & pans in different sizes & some main spices to cook with. As soon as I suggested that to the manager she was quick to respond and let me know she would definitely take that into consideration for future guests. The one thing to note was the 2 beds & pillows in the loft were so comfy! Probably some of the most comfortable beds & pillows I have ever felt! For that alone I was a happy guest! I also loved the small folding tables provided in the loft closet so my son was able to use one to do homework while we were there & the other I used to put my luggage on. I also noticed there was a pack and play in that closet so that was a nice bonus for a family that may be traveling with an infant/small child. Air conditioning worked good as long as you had the fan on also so that it pushed the cold air up to the loft. We were there for a high school football game. The team was staying at Turtle Bay Resort so this was a convenient location for that as the walk to the resort was about 10 minutes or so & if driving was super quick. The Turtle Bay Resort beach is public access, but there are so many better beaches on the North Shore so we drove to others most of the time. There is a great one not a far drive with huge sea turtles that come up on the sand to sunbath.

The property was beautifully located on the turtle bay golf course and in walkable distance to the hotel and beach, but a car is required to head to snorkeling spots and grocery shops. The property was lovely, very clean and big enough for a large family. I highly recommend visiting this accommodation.
