Wonderful Experience
Excellent property and great hosts. It was a pleasure to deal with them and their local property manager Bev. The condo was clean, well-equipped and stocked with basic supplies. We enjoyed our time there and booked another stay in the fall.

Very satisfied
My wife and I were very satisfied with this unit. Very clean, and well furnished. It was nice to have an indoor pool nearby to cool off in at the end of the day. Lots of trails (including the Fazio golf course) to take a walk on. The price was quite reasonable.

Island retreat
The area was quiet with the advantage of being close to the resort. A lot of activities were available. The internet was not reliable, consistently cutting out. This also was an issue when watching YouTube TV.

Not the best
Staying near Turtle Bay and use of many of its resources was an unexpected benefit of the property. We enjoyed the hiking trails and the restaurants. Having a laundry room in the unit is a definite plus. There are some areas of improvement that cannot be ignored. The property had a musty smell that never went away even after opening all windows and doors. Other than the kitchen, the rest of the unit is in need of a major refresh. The internet/Wi-Fi was flaky at best. The first day the internet would drop out/come back every minute. When I notified the property manager and owner, it was suggested the I take the time to contact Spectrum Cable and see if I could resolve the problem. Not what we expected.

For nearly 2 days, Spectrum Cable and WiFi had outage issues in the Turtle Bay Area not just our condo. I told him to call Spectrum in case they needed to send a serviceman, they could arrange a time, they didn’t need to. I live in Oregon I couldn’t meet a service man. I don’t even guarantee WiFi, I provide it at no extra cost. WiFi worked perfectly after Spectrum repaired their equipment. Most of our guests enjoy our interior decorating, its colorful, has Hawaii Themes instead of the ubiquitous gray and white that seems so popular these days. I have never before had complaints about a musty smell, but this is Hawaii where there is high humidity.

This unit was super clean. The location is perfect for traveling to the north shore or day excursions. Short walk to the beach. The food trucks had amazing food and were only about ten minutes away. I will definitely be staying there again. Ahola

Great home base on Oahu North Shore
Cannot say enough good things about our on-site hostess, Bev. She welcomed us with lights on (we came when dark), answered our questions, and was available for any need we had. The condo was very nice and in a great location to everywhere we wanted to go. Great little home away from home.

Quite and cozy
This nice little cozy place was a great start to mine and my wife’s 3 stop trip to Hawaii. We loved the location and the area is just off the beaten path of the busy areas of north shore. The condo had what we needed to relax on our trip and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The host was great to work with even with our later check in. She accommodated us with our needs and everything was a breeze. Thank you!

Horrible experience with owners
The place was in a great area and great beaches. Items they left for use we found to be broken as things aren’t thoroughly checked. Also was wrongly charged for a cookie pan, we were charged $40 for a cheap one, by the owners who do not live there and take the word of the person who cleans it and admitted to not thoroughly going through everything. All in all it was a great area and little place but not worth staying at with broken beach items and being wrongfully charged. We might as well have stayed at turtle bay resort walking distance away from it.

This renter damaged items in our condo, baked something on a large cookie sheet, burned it to be unusable. They spilled food on our furniture and didn’t attempt to clean it up. I charged them a small amount for cleaning and replacement. They agreed to the charges. Yes they could have stayed at the hotel for about $1000 more per night and they wouldn’t have had a full kitchen in which to ruin things. Look at our other reviews, I have no memory of a previous negative one. CaryR

Great place to stay
This condo was perfect for our trip to the North Shore. Very private and quiet. Plenty of space for 2 people and it made a great base for exploring the whole island. Very clean and with everything you would need to self cater. Would recommend this condo.

Couples getaway
Every part of the reservation went on as planned. Check-in was easy to navigate and the home is just as described. Perfect location for a quiet couples getaway, but so close to all of the must-see places while in Hawaii. We will be back!

Very Comfortable
We spent 2 weeks here. It's an excellent location that met all of our needs. If you need to go to a Costco it is only 50 minutes away. It's an easy walk to the beach, Turtle Bay Resort has miles of trails to hike and they also have a beach for all your water activities. We saw Monk seals, Albatrosses (adults and babies) and many bird species. The unit has everything you will need for your stay. The only thing I will say is a small negative is that the internet is a little buggy but it is sufficient.

Great place!
Nice location, great communication with owner and property manager, and convenient to all parts of the island. The pictures of the unit showing the living room are out of date. There are now two couches and the glass table is currently located where the bar stools in the picture are. Frankly, since this unit really only sleeps 2 comfortably, it would be nice to remove the one couch and put the table back to where it's shown in the picture. This would really help increase the usable area of the unit. Other than that, it was great!

Perfect Northshore location
My daughter and I spent a week at this condo. It is very spacious and a great kitchen space for cooking. We loved the walking distance to Turtle Bay, the quiet neighborhood, dedicated parking space, gated community, and plenty of towels in the condo. In a heartbeat I would book this condo again!

What a wonderful place
We stayed here 8 nights and I loved it. This is a comfortable condo so close to anything you need for your stay. Turtle bay resort is a 0.6 mile walk away, with trails, the beach, stores and food. The one and only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the bed was very uncomfortable. The room is large enough to accommodate a bigger bed, it is a queen but that’s not my complaint. My complaint is that the bed is very hard! My husband started sleeping on the couch early every morning and woke up sore every day. I didn’t struggle with it as much as he did but I do agree it’s way too firm. A nice mattress topper might do the trick if the owners don’t want to replace the mattress.

North shore paradise
This place did not disappoint! We used the tennis courts and pool everyday. We took advantage of being in turtle bay and used their facilities daily especially for sunset. This was central to all the great food trucks in kahuku and surf near Sharks cove The place was clean, spacious, comfy and had everything we needed!

Cute condo in beautiful area
The condo was cute and cozy. The bed was comfortable and having a washer and dryer available for use made things easy. The bathrooms themselves were fairly clean but the showers were gross. There was a lot of mold (which I figured..it is Hawaii and humid) but there was also hair and dirt from the people staying ahead of us. Ask for extra toilet paper when checking in, there isn’t much available in the unit. Overall, we feel like we would definitely stay at this location again.

The condo eas pretty much as described. Bev was a great pn site manager and was always approachable...answered text messages quickly. There were no beach chairs or umbrella when we arrived. The owner quickly told us to buy these and he would reimburse us, which he did. Could use a new frying pan that food doesn't stick to...overall we were happy with the location and the condo in general.

Great location to experience BIG winter surfing! Just a few minutes to some great surfing beaches. Easy access to all you need from grocery, food trucks and restaurants. Comfortable condo on north shore
This comfortable one bedroom, 2 bathroom condo was perfect for our 3 month rental. The space was good for two adults. Easy access to area on the North Shore and the windward side. Turtle Bay offers a number of walking trails, beaches and sunset views.

It was...fine. The property manager was wonderful. The condo was not updated which I knew from the pictures, so I had no problem with that. However, it was also not clean. The toilet wasn't even wiped down. We didn't use one of the showers because it was so dirty. The other shower had hair, etc. Overall, it was fine. Not amazing, but not awful by any means.

This guest arrived very early before check in time, just after the previous guest had left. Told our property manager/cleaner who had changed the beds that it was ok, leave the rest as is. Our cleaner has worked for us for over 10 years and we have never had a complaint. By the way, there was new A/C installed August 3, and professional carpet and upholstered furniture cleaner in on August 4. Disregard this Review.

Very nice location. By golf course, near beautiful trails along the beach. Air conditioning was a tiny window box and did not work, but fortunately temperatures were not bad and fans circulate air nicely. An old bolt in shower door gave way but they fixed it quickly.

I have never had a complaint about the A/C and we stay 2 months each year with no issue. Did this guest not understand the remote control for the A/C? It’s btu rating is sufficient and the size is the space provided for A/C in original construction. Even so, we are installing a new unit. My handyman said someone slipped or put too much weight on the shower door, it just needed to be slipped back in place.

One bedroom condo - very clean. Wonderful cross breeze, a/c not needed at all. Grounds are kept up very well. Manager of this property is friendly, gracious and helpful. We were unaware that the resort (restaurants etc) was closed due to construction but the beaches were nice and not crowded! We definitely recommend renting from this owner and may do so again next year!

Great location. Nice clean condo.
Condo is at the condo complex just south of Turtle Bay resort and is a short walk to the beach and a short drive to all the high lights of the north shore. The condo is pretty much as pictured and described - very clean. Only thing I would say is I'm not sure that the bed is a Queen bed as it was a little tight for two people to sleep in. Overall, great spot and a great vacation.
