Lovely Townhome in a Wonderful Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely townhome. It was very clean when we arrived and in a great location in the complex. The pool can be seen from the patio and tennis courts are very close by. It is a short walk to Turtle Bay and a short drive to many beaches, restaurants and food trucks. We would love to stay there again in the future!

Bests Turtle Bay Resort

The beauty of Turtle Bay without the exorbitant price. Comfortable, clean, well suited for two couples or a small family. Very easy walking (less than 5 minutes) to all the dining, bars, beaches (snorkeling!) and hikes around the resort. Easy communications with the owners. Highly recommend!

Cute loft on beautiful North Shore

We had a wonderful time staying at Helena’s Turtle Bay condo. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We loved being able to walk to the beach and Lei Lei’s restaurant. We were also in a great location to drive to many other North Shore beaches. The unit could use some minor updates to the closets and bathrooms as the were a little dated. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!

More than adequate.

Only one complaint that owner can't correct. I'm 6'4" staying in loft. Ceiling slopes sharply and I constantly bumped my head. Had a minor plumbing problem. Owner had a plumber there next morning on a holiday.

Fabulous

Aloha!!! We Loved and enjoyed the location. It is quiet even with the pool located so close. Close to pools and tennis courts.. 10 min walk to the beach. Place was well equipped with beach chairs, snorkeling gear, water tubes and a umbrella. We bought a new umbrella, beach towels and paddle ball set and added them to the items that were already there. 👍👍 It is very clean and the grounds are well maintained. We definitely will be back. The hotel is currently being renovated (reopen summer of 2021) and Roy's was closed. But Lei Leis was open, the golf course and beach was open. We like to explore.. Nice drive to Sunset Beach and Shark Cove, with lots of places to eat. Awesome 17 day trip. We definitely would stay here again. 5+stars The owner is great and responds quickly. Mahalo!!!

Wonderful property!

Clean condo and is exactly as described, including the pictures. The pool is very accessible, just walk around the condo (there’s a space between the condo next door) and it’s right there. The tennis courts are also in front, beside your parking spot. You can see your car from the master bedroom too. There is plenty of foliage in the front of the master bedroom window that you don’t need to use the curtains and can leave the sliding door open for a cool breeze. The dumpster is also near your parking spot so everything is very close. Helena has provided pool and beach toys, chairs, tennis rackets, beach towels, everything to make your stay enjoyable. The wifi was very strong as well. This condo is perfectly situated to see the gorgeous beaches, like Sunset Beach, and Ted’s Bakery is right there to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. We were very pleased with the condo and would come back again.

A great place to stay on the North Shore.

This was a great place. Much quieter than Honolulu. We enjoyed our stay in spite of the warmer temperatures for this time of year. A great location and place!

Condo near Turtle Bay Resort

The property is fine, with access to many Turtle Bay resort amenities and walks. There are a few drawbacks. It is dated in some areas, including the window unit air conditioners. In warm weather they are necessary, but never properly cool the upstairs loft. There is a nice porch with two chairs and some beach equipment for use. The bathrooms have been updated, which is a plus. The entry approach decking (used by two apartments) needs some repair.

Perfect getaway!

The property was just as nice as we had seen and read about. Communication was the best Ive ever experienced while renting a VRBO. Quick and full of information. Everything we needed was here from shampoo and conditioner (not always avail at rentals) to a stocked kitchen with everything we needed. We would love to stay here again!

Comfy & Convenient

We have never stayed in a VRBO property before. We booked through VRBO on the suggestion of a friend familiar with Oahu that told us to book North Shore & VRBO. I am a previous furnished rental manager, so my expectations were high. This condo did not disappoint in most areas. Pros: The beds were clean & comfortable. There were plenty of towels - bath, hand, kitchen & beach towels. The location was PERFECT. Quiet complex right across from one of the pools and walking distance to the Turtle Bay resort restaurants & beach. It was nice to have the kitchen to be able to keep drinks, snacks & light breakfast items. Cons: Only "cable" TV in the living room. No TV in the loft. TV in the bedroom had no cable & streaming via internet was laggy & disconnected frequently. (Owner was contacted and did respond quickly. Was going to get cable tv company out, but could not schedule within our visit. We did find that Netflix streamed pretty well on the tv, though still laggy at times) Loft was too hot for our adult kids to sleep up there, so they slept on the living room couch. (Which was fine for them, my husband worried about it more than they did) he bought an oscilating fan, which did help in the loft - we left it for the next guests) Condo was neat & clean until the last night we were looking for my sons necklace that he lost.... we lifted up the couch and found lots of trash, old food, dust-bunnies, etc. *Housekeeping should make sure to move furniture when cleaning in the future since it's all hardwood floors. Overall, was a comfortable, clean (99%), convenient place to stay. Would definitely consider staying with this owner in the future if (when) we return to Oahu. North Shore is THE PLACE to stay while in Oahu.
