"Very disappointing. The food at a ryokan is at least half the value of the experience. I have been to many ryokans from budget to luxury and by far, the food here, was the worst. Tasteless and poorly prepared. Like it came from the fridge to perhaps the microwave in some cases and then to our table. "Lovely getaway for an authentic Japanese Onsen bathing experience. The suite room was gorgeous and came with a private bath which was very worth it for me ! Many delicious local restaurant options nearby too. Staff knew enough English to get us settled. Highly recommend for 1-2 nights as part of your trip. "

"I would get the private onsen room if possible because of the convenience and the privacy. The public onsen was amazing if you don’t mind the nakedness and if your comfortable in your own skin.the rooms are quite and the area is less populated. I could hear my own thoughts and I didn’t like it at first but later got used to it and really enjoyed my stay. there’s a lot of eating option my group had a whole sushi bar to ourself. I would recommend staying again "
