"It was very clean. The room and facilities were beautifully kept and very new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However we were surprised at the extra charges for two futons for our children at ¥3000 a piece as well as the ¥3000 late arrival fee, which made it much more expensive than we originally thought. "Delightful hotel, not easy to find though, just know its along the river! Very old fashioned but superbly maintained and its part of the charm. Onsen was fabulous, staff were all ultra accommodating. Organised a massage in my room, incredible. Shout out to Yoko, who looked after me at mealtimes, shes a star!"
