The location at 5 minutes from the main road allows for a quiet ambiance combined with the perks of being close to the road. Only 20 minutes from the airport, Wild Dogs is a great place to chill and hang out upon arrival in Zambia. Staff is really kind and very helpful "

"The place was awful. The shower only dripped water. Weak WiFi. An air conditioner that could only be turned on manually, remote to stop the air from blowing on you didn’t work. The electronic key didn’t work and breakfast was lame. The worst part was the main guy said he would refund my money for two nights (I left after one night and planned for 3) and he never did. He lied to me. "

"There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). "The single worst hotel experience of my time in Africa: I asked the hotel if I was settled with my bill when I was checking out. They said yes: I needed to pay with credit card since I have no local currency. "On my last stay I booked a double room but it was too small so we opt to check out and requested a one night refund since they offered to make the reservation at the property on arrival as opposed to my third party reservation. The executive room was comfortable and spacious though prices were high. "
