The Mahana at Kaanapali Unit 317, Lahaina, Maui

We are trying to capture the essence of resort living with the cool and casual style of Tommy Bahama's new lines of furniture. Fully stocked gourmet kitchens with brand new appliances, bathroom with dual sinks (a rarity with one-bedroom suite), washer and dryer will make sure that you will feel pampered and relaxed after an active day at the beach.

Stroll our mile-long stretch of beach, snorkel just offshore, relax at the oceanfront swimming pool. Explore West Maui's many beaches and bays, championship golf course in Kapalua, fine shopping at Whalers Village.

Instead of purchasing a condo that was partially upgraded to the previous owner's taste or budget, we selected this condo because we can start with a clean slate. The materials, appliances, and furniture we chose are the reflection of our desire to have a luxury oasis for our guests, or when we visit. My wife hates it when we spent our hard-earned money on vacation and stay at a place that is not nicer than our own home. Therefore, we are doing our best to make sure that our guests enjoy the inside of our unit as much as they are enjoying the beautiful, well-kept ground at the Mahana or the spectacular ocean view.

Here are what you will be enjoying when you stay at our newly remodeled unit. We break the bank but you won't have to. :-)

** Our guest will be enjoying a starter set of English Spa collection by Gilchrist & Soames: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, mineral bath and Exfoliating Oatmeal Soap
*Brand new furniture from Tommy Bahama in the living room and Dining Room
**McConnell Queen Sleeper with upgraded Air Dream Mattress with Petrified Wood Top side table

Enjoy your breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the lanai with comfortable Janus et Cie’s outdoor dining set. Ceiling fan with light keeps you comfortable on the hottest day.

Duke's Restaurant and Bar is steps away next door and right on the beach. Java Jazz, five minutes walk away, is a local favorite that serves breakfast and dinner with live music.

We loved the condo. It was so well appointed and clean. The beach view was wonderful. We had one little hiccup with the air conditioning but our host had it taken care of quickly. Very responsive!

Great condo with fantastic views

Property owners were very responsive and nice. Condo is beautifully decorated, very well equipped with pretty much everything you would need for your stay. It’s in a great location with fantastic views. Highly recommend and will stay here again if we visit Maui again.

When you see the pictures on the internet, you think: wow! When you walk in this condo, it’s even better. This accommodation is top notch and has absolutely everything you could wish for, it’s super clean, has a well equipped kitchen and there’s even snorkeling gear, beach chairs etc. And last but not least, the great view. Lovely Maui Condo

Beautiful location 50 feet from ocean and the unit is nicely decorated. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the roof construction project during our stay that meant no central AC. The host was great to work with and supplied portable AC units that helped keep things fairly comfortable it was just a bit noisy between the construction work and the AC units running 24/7.

Great Condo - a lot of construction but overall great

Phenomenal condo. Construction is definitely a bummer (jackhammers at 7:30am sharp 6/7 days week for 8hrs) but the condo/unit itself is amazing. Amazing views of sunset, turtles, dolphins. Location was perfect. Workers were outside window during our stay which wasn’t ideal, but again, condo was overall amazing and would recommend to anyone. Probably the cleanest unit we have stayed in to date.

I cannot say enough about how lovely Mahana 317 is! Beautifully decorated with a stunning view ...the view and atmosphere was the highlight of our very relaxing trip. Spring Break 2024

This property is magnificent! Absolutely stunning views. Spotlessly clean. Best stocked condo we’ve ever stayed in. Extra everything…. laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, soaps, paper products, shampoo, etc, enough for the entire week, not just overnight, so you have to go stock up on everything the day after arriving. So appreciated! The kitchen was as well appointed as at home. Has everything! Even the beach chairs were brand-new! So impressed. Will definitely stay here again. Highest recommendation!!

Honeymoon Luxury!

My husband and I stayed here for our belated honeymoon to Maui… and what a dream to stay here! The condo was sparkling clean, stocked with everything we didn’t know we needed, and had the most beautiful panoramic views every single day. As we found out from some local neighbors, the Mahana is one of the longest-standing communities in the area, which means it’s the closest to the ocean in the front and surrounded by towering monkeypod trees in the back. In such a busy, resort-filled area, the Mahana feels quiet and secluded. We truly felt at home and did not want to leave! Quyen was very communicative, checking in on us and answering every question we had. In all of our vacation rental experiences, this was hands down the best ever. We’ve only been home 3 days and are already dreaming of when we can return.

Absolutely stellar unit in an ideal spot

My partner and I already appreciate the Aston Mahana. Our four-week stay in this remodeled and very-well appointed unit took it to the highest level. It’s immaculately maintained and equipped with everything you need, from beach equipment to kitchen supplies and spices to toiletries, linens, Apple TV, comfy bed…you name it. The third floor height is magnificent for viewing sea life (we saw turtles, the rare monk seal, and even a shark), what’s happening on the beach, and enjoying that palm-tree featured sun setting just behind the neighboring island. The proximity to the ocean makes it super easy to get to and from the beach/unit. The layout is private and close, as if these experiences were custom-made. The owners Michael and Quyen responded very quickly to any questions we had. We can’t wait to return!

Beautifully appointed home away from home in the very best location

Photos of this property look unbelievable and reality does not disappoint! The beautifully decorated interior looks out on a stunning view that is all yours. Unlike most condos and resorts, all units at Mahana are right on the beach. This unit is also at the perfect height giving you privacy without removing you from the intimate connection to the ocean. From the balcony we watched turtles feeding in the surf near the beach and pods of whales and dolphins in the distance (binoculars provided) - all in one day! The condo is stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach - chairs, umbrella boogie boards and snorkel gear. Tennis rackets were a great discovery as there is a court on the property. For us, one of the nicest aspects was preparing most of our meals so we could dine in the tranquility of the balcony rather than at busy restaurants. Every gadget you could want is supplied for you in the modern, fully appointed kitchen. The owners, Quyen and Michael, are friendly, reponsive and very helpful. You can tell that they’ve put their hearts into making the condo just perfect. If you’re looking for the experience of having a piece of paradise all your own rather than feeling like a tourist, this is the only way to go.

The views are even better than the pictures.

From the moment we walked in the residence was pristine. The views are simply spectacular. Watching the waves and the reef with turtles crawling up to lay eggs, all viewed from the comfort of the couch. But the best of all were the brilliant sunsets. Simply incredible. We changed our dinner reservations to 7:45 to make sure we watched sunsets from the lanai. We also really appreciated the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella. Using these we visited many of the local beaches. Napili Beach was one of our favourites.Also, the food trucks were less than a 4 min walk open 5 to 8:30 pm were fantastic for when you just want some great food and variety. Simply a wonderful, clean, beautiful place to stay with lots to do nearby. My wife and agree it was our favourite vacation yet.

Amazing Condo

Our stay at Mahana was incredible. The condo was absolutely perfect, beautifully decorated and super clean. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could possibly need which made prepping/cooking meals a breeze. It was also so helpful having easy access to a washer and dryer! The ocean view from the condo was outstanding and made enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine that much better!! The building’s amenities were great too, pool area was nicer than expected and we loved having access to a grill. It’s a home away from home. The location was perfect and it was really easy to get around. We hope to visit Maui again in the future and would 100% stay here again!
