This was our third time visiting this resort. It is perfect for families with the outdoor grills and adequate full kitchen for meal preparation. The beach is close and safe for young children with multiple pools

Love the Westin Nanea. Huge condo with all the amenities needed for a family trip. Big kitchen, large living room and 2 separate bedrooms. Pool bar was great for the fill in drinks and food. Highly recommend

Everything was great! Location, pool, room, and ocean side. The only critique are the cabinet doors with sharp bottom edges. Great views from the room, and very comfortable.

Our stay at this resort was great! We usually stay next door at Honua Kai but we wanted to try this one and it did not disappoint. Thank you to the owners for sharing their time with us. I’ll defiantly watch for this unit to be available in the future.

The condo itself was perfect. Nice balcony, partial view of the ocean, and excellent view of the lagoon / courtyard with palm trees, etc. excellent master bath, washer / dryer, full kitchen, close to elevators and the main resort lobby (but very quiet), etc. The resort was pretty good. Three pools to choose from and two are large and have water slides (though neither very good). Several large hot tubs. If I was being nit pickey I think the pools could be a little better maintained and I wish they had chairs on the beach you could use without spending close to a hundred bucks a day for a chair and umbrella. The snorkeling right in front of the resort was outstanding. You can.rent snorkel gear right on the property.

Maui is amazing. Think twice on this Westin

Quite a few bumps in the road for us: 1) we rented a 2BR balcony ocean view. We received a garden level no balcony or ocean view. We didn’t have what would be considered a 2BR/2BA room. We had two hotel rooms with an adjoining door 2) there is apparently a rodent issue and there was a dead mouse in a trap rotting under the bed and several cockroaches. Highly unsanitary 3) there’s not much staff assigned to cleaning. We received minimal room service once in a week and had to remove our garbage ourselves. Particularly important given rodents. They were unable to offer what we booked but did give us $100 off which was hardly worth it. The pool and beach areas are nice. The area is magnificent. I would probably stay there again but eyes wide open. There is a full court press on hearing the ownership presentation-$200 off an excursion. Thought that would be worth sitting through. Over two hours later I left the meeting it was an old school car salesman pitch with 3 different people trying to work me. Marriott should be ashamed actually. Just pay for your activities and avoid that entire mess.

Dream Spot for Families!

The Westin Nanea is a dream property for families, especially those with younger kids. Here's what we loved. - Amazing snorkeling right in front of the property. Sea Turtles. Octopus. Kinda unbelievable. So bring masks and snorkels for everyone in your crew. They do rent them, but it's much more expensive than just buying and packing your own. - Full Kitchen. There's only one restaurant on site, and it's pricey. We ate there and the food was delicious, but having a full kitchen allowed us to buy some groceries and at least feed the kids breakfast in the room before they ate their own bodies. There are a LOT of outdoor grills and it seemed everyone else bought food to grill. Lots of dads in full dad mode cooking steak, fish, chicken, etc. It was a fun vibe. - Pools. These were VERY active pools full of kids having fun. If you're looking for a quiet, chill pool, this isn't it. But for families - it was awesome. - Activities. You could stay on property for your entire vacation and fill you days with things like lei making, hula lessons, and more. - Access to Westin Villas. It's a short walk down the beach and you get access to another pool with a bigger slide and some other restaurants. You DO NOT have access to Westin Maui or the other Marriott properties on the island. There's some bad information out there. I wouldn't recommend this for honeymooners or romantic getaways, but for a family vacay, it doesn't get much better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin, Nanea! It is a beautiful, newer property, on the beach, and close to everything on the northwest corner of the island. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The outdoor bar, with good food is right next to the pool. There is a great walking path between the resort and ocean. The beach in front of the property is spacious, sandy and there is good swimming, with limited rocks. The staff is excellent - friendly and helpful. The VacationCandy team was very proactive and helpful!! We spent 10 nights here and will definitely return!
