Welcome to Papakea! Located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world-class golf resorts and minutes from shops, museums, restaurants, and galleries in nearby Lahaina and Whalers Village. Papakea is a 13-acre oceanfront resort with the true aloha spirit of Maui.

There are two private pools, two Jacuzzis, direct beachfront access, a cabana, three lighted tennis courts, two shuffleboard courts, two 18-hole putting greens, Koi ponds, lush gardens, and 12 outdoor barbecues. The resort also has an Activity Desk. For the sports enthusiast, the golf courses of Kapalua and Kaanapali are nearby, as well as great snorkeling and boogie-boarding. Or take your time walking along the miles of soft, sandy beaches.

Our second-floor, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is directly oceanfront with a private lanai in the sought-after 'L' Building. Nothing but blue sky and ocean! One of the rare 2-bedroom/2-bathroom units where the Master Bedroom faces the ocean. The unit is air-conditioned and also has ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. We offer free wireless Internet access. Sip a cocktail on the lanai and enjoy the beautiful views of the neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai. Parking is conveniently located near the building, and both the elevator and stairs are nearby.

The living area features ample seating, as well as satellite TV, a VCR/DVD player, and a stereo with a CD player. There is a table with seating for four on the private lanai. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The unit also has its own washer and dryer.

As renters ourselves for years, we have drawn on our experiences to think of everything possible to make your stay comfortable. The oceanfront master bedroom features a king-size bed and ample dresser and closet space. It offers a full ocean view, and the bathroom features a shower/tub and a separate vanity area.

The second bedroom features two full-sized beds and ample closet space. The bathroom features a 3x3 foot sit-down tub with a shower (ideal for bathing the kids) and a separate vanity area.

There is a queen-sized pull-out sofa in the living room for extra guests.

All linens, including beach towels, are provided.

The State of Hawaii requires us to post our Department of Taxation Registration number, which is W50156142-01. Our on-island contact is Maui Rentals and Realty, LLC, located at 1087 Limahana Pl., Lahaina. Please do not contact them for booking.

Breathtaking View of the ocean from our lanai and master bedroom!!

This condo was perfect for our family of 7. It had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location...close to shopping and gorgeous beaches. Loved the pool area and grounds! We were blown away by the number of whales we saw daily off our lanai!! It was an awesome home away from home! Mahalo!

Great condo in a great location.

Had a great time staying at this condo with my family. Location is great. The complex is large, but it never felt crowded. It was really quiet. We had groups above, below, and next to us and we never heard them. We saw turtles out front swimming and beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Condo was well stocked and had everything we needed. Within walking distance from restaurants and groceries. We did have an issue that we needed to contact the property manager. She was quick to respond and took care of the issue quickly. Highly recommended this condo.

Awesome Thanksgiving getaway

First this is the most organized kitchen I have ever seen in any rental, things were arranged very well and it was very stocked, nothing really additional needed. The view is great from the master and the living room. Would recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic view from the lanai!

Nice condo with lots of supplies and pretty well equipped with anything you need while in Maui. We were entertained daily by the whales performing in the ocean. Such a great view which included evening sunsets. It was a nice feature to have the two bedrooms separated and each couple had a bathroom to themselves. The grounds were nice and we enjoyed the putting greens and pools.

Just what you need…

This property was gorgeous and mesmerizing from the moment we came in. The first thing We noticed upon arrival was the ocean waves crashing and the beautiful view. The condo was very comfortable for two couples and a toddler and very well stocked with everything you need. The location was great, close to everything you would want to do on the west side of Maui. Would highly recommend ☺️

Incredible view, just steps from the ocean.

This condo is exactly as advertised and you can’t beat the location. I would recommend stocking up at Walmart by the airport after you land. Buy essentials like shampoo and paper towels with your groceries to save yourself a trip. Great unit overall. Highly recommend.

Annual trip to Maui

This was a hard trip for us with the devastating fire and so much loss in Lahaina this year. We both felt like we had a peaceful place to just relax and enjoy Maui! We loved being able to just sit on the lanai of our beautiful rental and enjoy the water and whales! (We didn't miss any sunsets!) We loved the pool and beautiful walkway along the beach. Everything we needed was included in the kitchen and it made cooking easier. Mahalo! We hope to book your place again!

Beautiful Beachfront Condo

This condo was absolutely beautiful. You can’t get any closer to the ocean! We watched the sunset every night from the balcony. The condo is spacious, clean and very comfortable (except the 2nd bedroom is a bit on the cramped side). The kitchen was well stocked for all your cooking needs. The resort was beautifully landscaped and I wish we’d had more time to enjoy all the amenities. We did swim and even used the bbq grill one night! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great views

Our stay at this property the first week of April was amazing. The oceanfront view is as good as it gets in Maui. Can't get much closer than this. The condo was plenty spacious enough for our family of 6 (3 adults, 3 children). The resort accommodations were great for the entire family. We used the pickleball courts, mini putt, the pool, and the grills. The location of the condo was perfect. It was very close to the boardwalk to head south for a walk and very close to the food trucks for a quick lunch or dinner. We enjoyed bringing dinner back to the condo and enjoy the amazing views of the sunset while whale watching. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Brian M Michigan

An oasis in a difficult time

We had a much needed getaway and this was a wonderful setting for it. Not a fancy resort with bars and restaurants, and huge pool complexes; the setting was beautiful and peaceful, and just what we needed. About as close to the water as you can get, and the sound of the surf was our music all week. We had 4 adults, and the rooms worked well for us. The condo was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We ate in as much as possible to minimize potential Covid exposures, and the nearby grocery store and well equipped kitchen and pool-side grills made that easy. While there is no beach at this resort, there is beach that is just down the walking path, and you are a short drive to some really great beaches. There is a nice lawn by the ocean though, and the pools weren’t crowded and had lounge chairs at-the-ready. The owners were great at working with us in the event that travel was restricted to the island due to Covid, and that gave us all the confidence we needed to book. We felt very safe traveling to Maui, and during our stay - with mask use being enforced on property and around the island. Condo staff were great at keeping common area surfaces clean as well. We’d come back again, and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

Excellent location, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Wwould .. There's a walkimg distance restaurant as well.

This rental is a hidden gem. You will listen to waves and watch sunsets from the balcony. The rental was clean and had items needed to have a great family vacation.

Love Papakea!

Watching whales from the lanai was one of my highlights! So grateful binoculars were available for us to borrow. Great location, amazing cinnamon buns just a short walk. Really well stocked, appreciated the blender and the beach towels

The condo is great for a family of six. Plenty of space and a wonderful lanai to sit and watch the ocean. Convenient to food trucks, coffee shop, snorkel rental and restaurants. Check in was easy. Would definitely stay there again.
