Clean, comfortable, tastefully renovated and at a great location

Had a great time here as a couple. Condo was clean, comfortable and tastefully renovated. Mahana in general is at a superb location. We both felt at home the entire time and will be back!

Amazing vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. This was our 8th visit to the Mahana and this was the nicest unit that we have rented. This beautiful condo has all of the amenities that you will need for a great vacation in an amazing location.

A lot of fun

I really like how close to the water this condo is and you get to see whales and boats everyday from balcony. Great location walking distance to Dukes for dinner, breakfast and drinks. Had a lot of fun.

The Mahana speaks for itself. I think that it is one of the best condo locations on Maui. This condo was lovely, every thing was clean and a great spot for our trip.

Totally wonderful!

We have stayed at the Mahana several times. Love the closeness to the ocean The unit is on the 12th floor along with many other suites. View is stunning! Enjoyed the pool and property The suite is very clean and comfortable Loved it!!!!!

Quality all around

We’ve stayed at the Mahana many times and this was the nicest unit we’ve ever rented. It was furnished and stocked like it was meant for the owner. No problems. Good quality appliances, dishes, mattress, TVs, WiFi. The view on the top floor was exceptional especially when watching the turtles and sunsets. Host was very responsive and had lots of beach chairs and toys available.

Beautiful and very nicely decorated

One of the best and nicest places we have stayed at in the Mahana Condos and we have stayed in several. Suggestion: It would be nice to have some way to play iPhone music as everyone seems to have music on their phones. I ended up buying a blue tooth speaker for $65 which worked great but the electronics in the unit do not allow for any hook-up of phone music. Other units that I have stayed in at the Mahana have inexpensive phone players. Also, the instructions for the DVD players (and TV) are out of date and couldn't figure out how to use the DVD in the living room. I was able to watch Spectrum cable however. The instructions are for the Sony TV which has been moved into the bedroom.

Mahana Penthouse

12th floor, Ocean front amazingness! Although small (perfect for two), the condo has everything thing required for a short or long term stay. We watched hundreds of whales, turtles, dolphins cruise by from the balcony and enjoyed fantastic sunsets every night. Host went out of their way to communicate and help with the booking process.

The views!

Great place to stay! We really enjoyed watching the whales and turtles from the condo, which was such a treat. The condo was clean, comfortable, and very quiet and provided everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend!

Maui favorite

We absolutely loved this property! From the amazing views to the location central to great snorkeling we were 100% thrilled and we will be back! We saw surfers, turtles, rays, and even a couple of sharks right from the lanai.

Spectacular view, disappointed in lack of essentials

Gorgeous view and perfect location, would be 5 stars across board but disappointed in certain aspects, especially as compared to other units in which we’ve stayed in the Mahana at equivalent rates. Our stay was two weeks. Very frequent VRBO travelers. Found couch cushions and table chair upholstery in need of cleaning. Most disappointing was condo lacked certain items that are VRBO basics, in our experience. We felt a little “nickeled and dimed” having to buy these items for ourselves after asking property manager twice and receiving no response — e.g., no basic cleaning product to clean countertops and glass table after each instance of cooking/eating use; no brush, sponge, or other scrubbing pad was provided for kitchen sink, to clear stuck on food from dishes before putting in dishwasher or to clean items not appropriate for dishwasher; no salt, not even a plastic shaker, in cupboards. Also, kitchen utensils are comparatively sparse for cooking, for those who enjoy it when VRBO’ing — as an example, two micro-tiny cutting boards in kitchen, not even big enough to slice fruit or vegetables. Master bed had no bedspread, instead was covered only by two white top sheets with a thin blanket in between. On 12th day of our stay was a knock on the door, a plastic sack with what turned out to be a bed spread was handed to my wife; delivery person said it had been cleaned for the owner who would be staying in the unit soon but that we were “free” to use it if we wished. Just odd.

OUTSTANDING

I don’t know where to begin but I’ll start with the view perfect, amazing, breathtaking, wow! Large lanai with beautiful view, access to lanai from living room and bedroom, immaculate, kitchen has all the essentials, rainfall shower, beach essentials (ex: boogie boards, snorkel gear, cooler, etc.). I wish I could have stayed longer, the sunrise/sunset was beautiful and we were lucky enough to see whales several times throughout our stay. I have beautiful memories and will definitely return on our next trip.

AMAZING! Just stop looking and book this! I really cannot say enough about how beautiful this unit is. Loved everything. Property is perfect, very close to everything. We stayed at a very nice condo in Kauai and didn’t think this would be the same, but this far surpassed it. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck and walking down 4 steps to the beach. We will definitely be back! 10 stars!

Felt like home

We had an amazing time in this space. Easy check in. Beautifully equipped and wonderfully situated near anything and everything near Kaanapali. Seeing the turtles from the lanai and the amazinv sunsets made it all the better! We'll stay here again!

Just as promised

We stayed here in August 2022. Unit was just as described. Everything you would need to have a wonderful time. Perfect location, Top floor with a GREAT view. You will not be disappointed for booking here. Kitchen very well stocked, all appliances are very new. Beach items needed are stored in the closet. I'd stay here again. Property very well maintained.

Great views!

The view from this unit was amazing, we loved watching the turtles and catching the sunset from the balcony. We took advantage of the beach chairs and boogie boards that were kept in the unit and brought them down to the beautiful beach each time. Though the beach in front of the condo isn’t swimmable because of the reef, it was a short walk over to the public beach which was never too crowded. The hosts were great communicators, as soon as Linda found out there would be construction on the roof during our stay, she immediately contacted us to see if there was anything she could do to make the stay better.

Breathtaking Waterfront Piece of Heaven

Look no further than Mahana 12th floor with views you won’t experience anywhere else! You can’t get any closer to the ocean with the floor to ceiling views when you step in-I felt like I was flying over the ocean/walking on water. Privacy from the large lanai is so nice-sunsets are epic! Big plus was being able to see the turtles below-aid love to come for whale season since I get sea sick;you would get a front seat with the comforts of home. I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed-better than my own! Kathy and Linda were super responsive to questions we had and updates for the unit. We will rebook for sure if we stay in the Kanaapali side in the future!

Great 4 nights

This was a great stay in a great location. My wife and I enjoyed our early morning coffee on the balcony of this 12th floor unit. You can’t be any closer to the water with absolutely nothing in your way to obstruct your view. The water was crystal clear and we were able to see turtles all day long. I also think I spotted a small shark. It was a great view of the other islands and boats passing by. The mirrors in the unit made the views even better. We also were able to take walks along the water which connects all the way down to the Hyatt. There were plenty of amenities in the unit. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was just right. We were able to us the AC when we needed to. We also took advantage of the pool. I highly recommend this unit and this complex.
