You will begin your Mahana tropical experience when you open the front door! From our ocean front condo on the 11th of 12 floors, you will see windows that go from the floor to the ceiling, & wall to wall in the living room. The Pacific Ocean is right there! On closer inspection, you will see the islands of Lanai'i to the south, Molokai'i to the north, beach going north towards Honokowai or south towards Black Rock. The lanai is fully fronted on the Pacific Ocean with access from both the living area and the bedroom through large wall to wall, ceiling to floor sliding-glass lanai doors. In the bedroom, this allows for a total view of the ocean when you wake up! This gives you the guaranteed view! Now the second part of the Mahana experience is the sound! Open the lanai door (either one of them or both!), and hear the Pacific Ocean kiss the beach that is literally a stone's throw away! A true delight for your senses!
To keep the unit at its Premium Level, we make various upgrades each year.
There is porcelain flooring throughout the entire unit with custom built-in cherry wood and granite cabinetry in the kitchen, the bathroom, and the living room, as well as custom soffit light features in kitchen and living area.
This is one of the few resorts that is on a sandy, swimming beach with DIRECT ocean front views and A/C. The views are to die for, whether you are sitting in your living room, getting a snack in the kitchen, on your private lanai, swimming in the ocean, at the ocean-front pool, or relaxing in the hot tub!
At the Mahana you will experience an upscale boutique resort atmosphere on Ka'anapali's scenic North Beach, yet the quiet surroundings provide uncommon privacy. Breathtaking Pacific Ocean views, including the beautiful islands of Lanai'i to the south and Molokai'i to the north, seem to meet you at your living room floor to ceiling window. Each morning will start with this wondrous view as you gaze out your bedroom ceiling to floor window. From the lanai, you can enjoy many tropical sights and sounds as you enjoy your morning coffee or your sunset-watching libation. These glorious views are also your backdrop while enjoying the pool, and the pool area BBQ grills. Miles of open beach beckon you to snorkel among the pristine coral reefs, take a walk (or run!), or just lay back and soak up the sun – be sure to have the sunscreen handy! Shopping and dining options are nearby, and the famous Whalers Village, with its eclectic blend of boutiques and memorabilia shops - there's even a whaler's museum - is just a short drive or walk away. With the Mahana's central location, golfers will enjoy the closeness to Kapalua and Ka'anapali's golf courses.
A boardwalk starts just outside the Mahana, and ends at the Hyatt Regency – about 3 miles away. It goes through Whalers Village in the heart of Ka'anapali Beach. On this walkway, there are parks, water activity rental kiosks, and restaurants, so driving isn't a necessity for a myriad of activities. The restaurant 'Duke's Beach Grill' is just next door - a few minutes walking distance - serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with ocean front views!
Our staff takes pride in providing sparkling clean properties. Therefore, we have enhanced our already stringent cleaning protocols between guests. We are following CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting and are using the recommended cleaning products. Specifically, we are performing an extra thorough clean of all commonly touched surfaces, such as remotes, switches and counter tops. We are washing all linens in the hottest possible setting.
