"My stay at Cabot Lodge was ideal. They have thought of everything down to the last detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location was great with a coffee shop a few doors down if you wanted to go out but there was a nice room to grab a quick cup before you start your day. They had recommendations for restaurants and knew the area well. I hope to return again soon!"

"Very old, historic building that takes you back into history. A perfect combination of old with modern convenience. Our room had a musty smell that may just be what it is with an old building. Never saw a staff member, so I could not comment on the staff. Breakfast extremely disappointing. Keurig coffee, Sam’s Club granola bars, apples and oranges, bread, English muffins and raisin bread. I recommend this property for the history, the experience of staying in such an old house and for the location."

"Great place, located in Salem and within walking distance to the cultural areas. Quick 15min walk to most of the Salem shops, restaurants and places of interest. The house itself had updated fixtures, furnishings and appliances. A/C units in the bedrooms and central A/C on the first floor. Was plenty of space for my family of four, which included two teenagers. WiFi was fast, so streaming worked great. Host sent check-in information ahead of time and we had no problem checking-in."
