Fairly quiet, I’m guessing most other guests are skiers or here for outdoor activities. Clean and very convenient to have dishes, fridge, and microwave. It’s not fancy at all, the rooms are definitely older but for the cost, convenience, quietness and safety it was all that we needed

Wasn’t terrible if you have low expectations… it’s a motel… But actually it was a okay place to stay for a short weekend, close to June Mountain resort. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and is very dated, beds weren’t terrible, having a kitchen was nice, just looks old. Good heating. Close to restaurants in town.

I was misled to think that this property had a living space with a couch. One of the pictures provided during the reservation showed that. Anyways, property wasn't bad. Bathroom and limited kitchen space was functional. It's just very dated and very motel-like. Price was very reasonable. So I guess, you get what you pay for.

Whispering Visit
trying to knock this property just passing on feedback. They offer no services such as turn down or daily room maintenance. The shower head didn’t work it only had a jet function. No staff on property they tapped envelopes with guests room keys on office door. Ice machine wasn’t working and offer no vending machines. Rooms and property is very dated and needs some maintenance.

Great Little Place
Great location. 5 minutes from the Lifts (by car). Quiet. We arrived and the key was taped to the window, which was a bit strange, but everything worked out. Room had a nice kitchennette nook with a microwave, keurig (some keurigs provided). Door locks from the outside. Warm and cozy. No problems at all.

Check in was easy. Envelope containing the key was taped to the office. My biggest complaint was the bed was uncomfortable, too soft and lumpy. Room just needs a remodel. When someone walked or ran past the room the whole place shook.

Room was infested with bed bugs… Bites literally all over my body. Asked for a new room, denied as it was “full”, yet only one car in parking lot. Customer service rep was rude and ignorant. Said it wasn’t her problem and would “call cops” and have my belongings removed if I kept arguing with her. Probably one of the worst stays I’ve ever had!

When we arrived no one was at reception, luckily we found an envelope with my name. We found our room and we couldn’t noticed that the drapes were broken and anyone that was walking by was able to see inside. We couldn’t make our tv to work. We never found anyone at reception so we couldn’t switch rooms.

Everything about it was in terrible condition. The heater in the bathroom didn’t work shingles were blown off the roof by a slight Wind, a shingle with nails in it fell on my car and dented the hood. There were water stains in the ceiling. The toaster is broken turntable in the microwave doesn’t work the worlds were completely bare.

The location is perfect but the property is rundown. Threadbare towels, ripped blankets, broken chair, and stained curtains. The office was closed the entire time with only an emergency phone number posted on the locked door. There was no maid service or extra towels available. Sorry it wasn’t maintained properly.

The location of the hotel is good. The staff was nice to show me how to get the key as I arrived. The room was not new but clean. Big king-size bed was comfortable. No weird smell in the room. I was satisfied with what I paid.

The location of the property was fine. Having a full service restaurant across the street was a plus. The surrounding hills are beautiful. It was quiet. I called two days before my arrival to confirm my reservation. I spoke with a gentleman who did mention what was waiting for me when I actually arrived at the property. earlier on the day of arrival I received an email which contained my bill, but nothing else. The bill indicated that I would be occupying room 124. When I arrived there was no one in the office and the door was locked. I did notice that there were two envelopes containing keys with guests names on the envelops. There was no such arrangement for me. A very kind lady who was with the housekeeping staff called someone and eventually someone showed. The man seemed very put out and gave me the impression that I was an inconvenience that he rather not deal with. He sized me up and and asked, Do you have a problem?" in a very rude manner. He informed me that I was reassigned to a different room and that my key was in the office. Which of course did me no good as the office was locked and unmanned when I arrived. The room itself was large. The bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom was not clean. The shower curtain was ringed in black mold, the shower pan was stained with the reminisce of past bouts of mold. The paint was cracked and peeling from the wall. In addition the cover on the bed has disgusting yellow stains.

The place was relatively clean, but the bed was terrible, i.e. you sank and your partner rolled toward you if you moved. We never met anyone at the property and our key was taped to the office door.

Truly disappointing experience
The office was closed and no one was on site. The keys and receipt with personal information as left in an envelope tape to the office door along with several others. Dishes and towels were stained and dirty. Wi-Fi was not working and we were unable to get extra pillows. I was extremely disappointed!

The property had many unsafe, unclear or not operating features. Examples include light switches did not work, shower floor was very poorly maintained, curtains were dirty, blinds did not work so they did not provide privacy and the list goes on. Of course the setting was beautiful.

Wow! We have stayed in many hotels and this definitely goes on one of the worst hotels we’ve every stayed in! Reminded us of the Rose Bud Motel in Schitz Creek! No one at the lobby to assist! My husband had to manually take tank off to flush! Huge crack on the window. No coffee maker! This motel is in desperate need of updating! Such a beautiful setting with mountains, but this place is bad! Destination wedding across the street tried to stay at Double Eagle, but it was booked. Never have I left a bad review like this, but we must be honest.

The property itself is located in nice area. The rooms are very old and shabby and need to be updated. We stayed there three nights and our room was never cleaned. I asked a staff person for clean towels and to empty our trash. She stated she would. When we came back to the room the trash was still there and clean towels were left on the desk. The dirty towels were never collected. Will definitely never stay there again.

Beautify rustic motel
This motel has a beautiful setting in the foothills of the Eastern Sierra Nevadas. Taken in isolation, the motel is old, but clean, facility. but the surroundings really set it off. Also, it has a full kitchen, which is very nice.

It was sufficient for a night but won't stay there again.The front desk was never open, just a phone number posted in case of emergency; The chairs in the bedroom area were about the fall apart; The toilet brush was just sitting on the floor not in a holder; The kitchen floor had a bubble, like the floor underneath was not in good shape; The stairs going up to the 2nd floor were wobbly as they were partially rusted and only attached by 3 bolts at the top; The sign in the kitchen said you will be charged $35 for any unwashed dishes; Loud trucks of the hunters and fishermen leaving at 3am and 5am; Nothing in walking distance.

No one around to check us in at check in time...second floor walkway was in need of repair and hand rail was ready to give, posts were broken at floor of walkway.. EXTREMELY UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS....one good push and that person or persons would fall to the first floor..... WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN......TOTALLY SURPRISED THAT HOTELS.COM HAS THERE NAME ATTACHED TO THIS PROPERTY......FEES SHOULD BE RETURNED
