Breakfast Included at The Julian Cafe & Bakery! The Julian Cafe Couples Cottage is a romantic cabin nestled amongst the trees remodeled with modern amenities. Enjoy your morning coffee, or a bottle of wine while stargazing from the privacy of your own patio. The couples cottage is the perfect place to take in the fresh mountain air and rejuvenate!

Located one mile from downtown Julian. Equipped with a fully stocked kitchen! There is a stove top and microwave; unfortunately, there is not an oven. The bathroom is supplied with amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The living room is equipped with a TV with starlink wifi. This house is designed with a country cottage feel but upgraded with modern amenities.

You will have the entire cottage to yourself, with access being sent prior to check in. There are about six steps leading up to the cabins so unfortunately we are not ADA accessible.

Parking is available in front of the cottages. If both cottages are being rented at the same time, please be mindful not to park in the middle of the driveway. If parked accordingly there is parking for four cars, so it should never be a problem.

BREAKFAST - LUNCH - DINNER - and of course PIE!!

You will be given a voucher once checked in towards breakfast, lunch, dinner or a whole pie at the Julian Cafe and Bakery located at 2112 Main St. The Julian Cafe does not accept reservation; however, you can call them (the phone number is on the back of your voucher) and add your name to the waiting list. Important to know, if you are wanting breakfast, YOU MUST BE SEATED BY 11:30am. If you do not make it in time for breakfast, no worries, your vouchers are still good towards lunch, dinner or a whole apple pie!

❄️*WINTER WEATHER TRAVEL- SNOW CHAINS!*❄️
For reservations between NOV through MAR/APR, please ensure your vehicle carries snow chains in the event that your reservation dates coincide with a winter storm event (it’s helpful to keep an eye on the weather forecast in advance of your trip as well). During active snowfall, chains are required to traverse snowy mountain roads safely, and traffic officials will not allow passage to those without them, so please prepare accordingly!

A NOTE ABOUT THE MOUNTAINS & WILDLIFE:
Julian is a rural community in the mountains where wildlife abounds. While do our *absolute best* to keep the pests at bay at the cottage, please keep in mind that critters and insects come with the territory here.

Star Gazing in Julian

Gave my wife her anniversary and birthday gifts together. A new telescope and a trip to Julian to use it. This turned out to be a fantastic trip with beautiful views!

It was a very charming cottage with all the extras to make our stay wonderful. Our stay was great and look forward to using it again someday. A very nice bonus was the apple butter left for us and we look forward to tasting it soon. Another great bonus was the voucher for the cafe. We used it for lunch and found it to be very delicious with giant portions. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Amazing Stay!

My wife and I stayed at this cozy couples cottage for a quick getaway and to explore this quaint town Julian ,Ca. Our experience was nothing short of unforgettable, from the welcoming touches in our room to the delicious meals we shared in town. Thank you to cara for your generous hospitality! The process was easy and she even granted us a ln early check in! Close to town with plenty to do near by!!

Julian Cafe Cottage Stay

The cabin was easy to find, completely met our expectations. Small and cozy, but a full kitchen. It was already affordable, but the owner also owns Julian Cafe and Bakery and it is wonderful that she provided each of us with a $20 voucher to use at the restaurant. When we turned them in at the restaurant, she came over to our table to meet us. Very nice gesture on her part.

Every comfort of home

The cabin is small but beautifully decorated and well appointed. It has everything you might want or need. The space was immaculate, sheets, towels, bathroom, and the floor. The listing details most of the appliances, kitchen tools etc...everything was fresh and ready to use. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed.What a pleasant surprise to find a Keuig AND a milk frother with more than enough coffee, sweetener and creamer for our three night stay.We were as warm or cool as needed because of a very efficient wall unit. In Julian the air was fresh and so opening the windows allowed us to be comfortable without needing any cooling or heating. Happily, the window screens are clean too.The vouchers for the Julian Cafe are as good as cash! We ate delicious meals at the cafe and took home an apple pie.We are seniors who are in good health. As listed this is not ADA but we managed the few steps and the shower easily. We WILL return as we've found a little piece of paradise in Julian.
