Nicht gut geführtes Haus
Ich habe im Vorfeld mehrfach versucht, das Hotel telefonisch zu kontaktieren. Ohne Erfolg. Auch auf E-mails keine Antwort.
Wir haben nur eine Nacht dort verbracht. Gebucht war ein Doppel-Komfortzimmer. Bekommen haben wir ein sauberes, aber kleines Zimmer mit schmalem Doppelbett.
Das war kein Komfortzimmer.

Schönes denkmalgeschütztes Gebäudeensemble
Das Hotel bietet ein gemütlich - geschmackvolles Ambiente, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Im Biergarten, schön mit Blumen bestückt, kann man wunderbar entspannt speisen.

Alles so, wie ich es erhofft hatte.
Hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren und einen Besuch der Museum Insel Hombroich. Frühstück lecker. Nach dem Tagesausflug kann man sich auf die Verpflegung im Restaurant freuen. Ambiente schön, innen und außen. Das Inhaber-Ehepaar ist sehr nett.

Ottimo Hotel e ristorante aperto pero' solo la sera e a pranzo nel weekend in questa stagione. Ritorno sempre volentieri quando riesco a trovare una camera libera. Camere spaziose con letto comodo. Attenzione agli orari del Check in, infatti non e' previsto prima delle 16:00. Personale molto gentile, sono riuscito ad avere la camera prima delle 16:00.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, allerdings gibt es keinen Bar Bereich wo wir als Hotelgäste einfach nur was trinken konnten. Durch die vielen Weihnachtsfeiern war das Restaurant sehr voll. Aber da wir dort nichts essen wollten, hatten wir leider keinen Tisch bestellt und sind davon ausgegagen, das es eine Möglichkeit für einen Absacker nach dem Besuch vom Weihnachtsmarkt auf Schloß Dyck im Hotel gibt. Da auch in der Nähe vom Hotel keine andere Möglichkeit gibt. Nach einigem hin und her, haben wir noch einen kleinen Tisch gefunden und alles war perfekt, sehr freundlich und sehr nett.

Eine herbe Enttäuschung. Minderwertiger Service.
Ich hatte mich sehr auf den Aufenthalt gefreut, wurde aber herb enttäuscht.
Ich bin an einem Montag spät abends angereist und hätte dies zuvor telefonisch bekanntgegeben.
Leider war im Hotel niemand erreichbar.
Als ich angekommen bin war das Hotel nicht besetzt, da es am Montag lt. Info Zettel an der Haustüre generell nicht besetzt ist. Die Schlüssel waren in einer durchnäßten Holzbox neben der Türe hinterlegt. Da die Schlüssel nicht passten, wollte ich mich an die angegebene Notfallnummer wenden, wo sich allerdings mehrmals nur die Mailbox meldete.
Schließlich sperrten die Schlüssel bei einem Seiteneingang.
Im Zimmer angekommen hatte ich die Lose Türklinke in der Hand und der Fernseher funktionierte zwar, jedoch waren keine Sender programmiert.
Ich habe diese Punkte an die Hotelleitung kommuniziert, jedoch bis zur Abreise zwei Tage danach keine Reaktion erhalten.
Zimmer waren sauber, Bad auch OK, Frühstück reichlich.
Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich; gefragt nach einem Bügeleisen wurde mir ein altes defektes Gerät gegeben, samt nicht zusammenklappbarem Bügelbrett welches ich selbst durch das ganze Hotel, vorbei an den Hotelgästen tragen durfte.
Das Abendessen war OK aber auffällig teuer. Der Service war sich hier sehr schwach.
Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel niemandem weiterempfehlen.

Confirmed booking but hotel closed!
Warning this hotel has it's ¨closing-day¨ on Mondays and is not staffed. In our case arriving at 8PM after a full day at the fair to not be able to get inside, yes it is all closed on Mondays. We found another guest who spoke german and managed to get a genitor who told us all keys are supposed to be in wooden box outside on Mondays for guests to self service themselves. Restaurant was closed as well. We could not get our room as it turned out keys had been stolen. No solution available. Had to buy a other room in a very expensive hotel to get at room at all..
