"Our stay at Richard’s place in Westcliffe was wonderful! The property is stunning and clearly well-tended to. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay for our friends wedding. We came from the east coast so this quiet getaway, unplugged, enjoying the creek and scenery was better than we even expected. Due to the wildfires we were not able to utilize the grill or fire table but that did not put a damper on the stay at all— the kitchen is perfect and well-equipped. The stargazing in this area is unlike anything I’ve ever seen! I would absolutely come back and recommend this home for your trip!"

"Jim and family was great! Amazing clean place with gorgeous views of the mountains! We seen lots of wildlife everyday driving to go do stuff! Fishing was great on the Arkansas just a short drive away! Would definitely rent again!"

"I had trouble getting the access code not because of Hillside Properties, but because I didn't have phone service. I was grateful that Shana was there cleaning when I was on my way to Westcliffe and got an access code. Then once I had internet I had service. Beautiful place and very enjoyable stay."

"We have stayed in several vacation rentals in the past few years using VRBO. This property was by far one of our most favorites. It was so clean and so comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking gadgets. This home highly exceeded our expectations. We wish we could have stayed longer. If we make it out that way again, we would definitely like to stay here again."

"We failed to realize the property did not have air conditioning. To be fair it was noted in the listing and we missed it. No problem in late Fall, Winter, or Spring but not great in hot weather. Also, while on the river, access is about a 20 foot drop over boulders. Probably not suitable for those with small children. Nice location right across from the store. Good WiFi service."
