"We definitely enjoyed our stay! There is a path down to the lake that was manageable for us to carry our kayaks down. However, the owners even offered their lake access entry point if we needed. We were able to kayak multiple times and then pop into Cheney just 10 minutes away to visit family. "

"Random accommodations in a refurbished dorm. We had a 4 bedroom and the rooms DO have a bathroom in them, contrary to the description. Super perfect for a football game weekend with the little's. Not crowded like a hotel room."

"I am writing this on behalf of my 20 year old son who spent a long weekend in Colfax with a friend photographing the area. The owner was extremely friendly and easy to work with before the trip. My son said he actually did not meet her in person while there but it was very easy to check in, they had everything they needed including a toothbrush and toothpaste (he forgot his at home). He said the property was definitely family friendly and the neighbourhood was very “interesting”. "

"I have been on Vrbo for over 10 years and have had many stays and this far is over and above the best we've rented.The home was immaculate with four large spacious bedrooms that slept four couples comfortably!The host was amazing and communicative and there were so many little surprises. A cow gave birth while we were there and we got to watch the calf learn how to walk while we were sitting on the beautiful patio overlooking the lake. We fed the darling Pygmy goats and In the morning, we went and got eggs out of the chicken coop.We were in Cheney for the Bluewater Bluegrass festival and one of the couples didn't even go to the festival because they wanted to watch the animals and enjoy the farm! The views were amazing and the sunsets were out of this world!This wasn't just another weekend stay. This was an actual experience that we all were delighted and surprised to have!"
