"If you get the free breakfast, there is just one choice from the menu and it doesn’t even include a coffee. Other than that, it’s a nice hotel with friendly staff. Very convenient if you’re there for an event at the arena."

"Our stay was pleasant. The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and the king sized bed was extremely comfortable. We had the air conditioner set and when it would come on it sounded like we were taking off in a plane. I don't know if all the rooms air-conditioners sounded like that. Bring earplugs and put them in and sleep amazing."

"We loved this property. The indoor pool and proximity to horses were the most popular amenities for our group. Spacious rooms, relaxed and beautiful. We loved the quiet country location. We saw wildlife every day. And it was only 15-20min from everything we wanted to do in the area."

"From the moment you walk in, the attention to detail is obvious. So many extra touches to make you feel at home. Beautiful space, very clean, everything you need and more. Hilary is the best at communicating! Prior to arrival, sent a list of grocery stores etc. near the home. Very helpful. Your pups will will be spoiled as well. Our pup celebrated her 14 th birthday here! A very serene backyard with a covered patio and an extra surprise amongst the cedars. Would love to stay again. Thank you!!"

The Birdhouse - A charming cottage on the South Hill

"The Birdhouse is the perfect nesting place in Spokane. It has been put together with thought and theme and is a delight. The sweet living room has a very comfortable new couch perfect for chilling in the evening and watching movies. The master ensuite is bright and cheery and the amazing kitchen is incredibly well stocked and so precious. We had a great time. We did add an outdoor table under the gazebo as the nights were so perfect even though we managed to stay during a hot spell. The Birdhouse and the grounds were an oasis.We would sip our coffee in the morning on the porch, go out for the day and come back to the welcoming house and side yard. The weather was great for barbecuing. We haven't used charcoal in years so there was a bit of a learning curve but it makes you slow down and enjoy the cooking experience.We didn't meet Amanda but Randy was an incredible host, responsive, kind and helpful. We have been using VRBO for almost 30 years and the Birdhouse is a place we highly recommend and the host goes out of his way to help.Hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we did.The Traveling Bigelows"
