"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was extremely clean, very modern, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were huge and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water, which made relaxing after a long day even better. The hotel had everything to offer! Pool, fitness center, laundry room, restaurant/bar, etc. We also loved the complimentary coffee bar in the mornings and the ample seating throughout the lobby area. Most importantly, the staff was so friendly and welcoming during our entire stay. Very happy with our experience and will absolutely stay here again!"

"This place was absolutely beaten up. Grounds were not maintained, walls, rooms, hallways etc stained dirty broken and just really bad shape for the price. Things that were offered were not available and if there is any event scheduled, guests are pushed out of those areas over 4 hours before an event when eating lunch in a common area (even though charged an amenities fee on top of the stay by the ownership). Extremely confusing to get on the property and everything listed as “on property” was not accurate as there is an adjoining “higher end” facility which other guests thought was where they were staying as well. First and last time ever. Would have been a memorable 25th anniversary but now it is for all of the wrong reasons. Suggest bite the $$ bullet and stay in Charleston."
